Well, the service was really good wish I knew our waitresses name she was awesome.. friendly and absolutely awesome with my grandkids, the kids loved her so much the made pictures for her to keep ? the food was out in a reasonable amount of time and good and hot. I would recommend this place all-around better than the other restaurants in the south end of nanaimo.
Everything about Smitty's - Nanaimo - was great except for one important item. An improvement is needed around accessibility. One of our party was in a wheel chair. The ramp was way over to the side of the sidewalk and there was no auto access button to open the door. I had to struggle with opening the door and pushing the chair through. A person in a wheelchair who is on their own would most likely not be able to access this restaurant.

Went for breakfast. We were seated at a dirty table then relocated to a table with a window that did not have blinds. Found a long black hair on the ham. Over all the service was ok. The food was good. The cubed hashbrowns were the highlight.
