Maybe we walked in on a busy night but we waited 2 hours for our food and the service was horrible. Didn’t provide us water upon arriving and once we reminded our server, she forgot once again. Wait was so long that at least 7 people walked out. Female server with ponytail has absolutely no manners, stone faced the whole night with no facial expressions and there are only 4 cooks. Even people waiting for takeout were visibly angry with the wait. Hire more people. And replace that bitchy server. No tip.

Edit. Two years since original review and Ryu still doesn't disappoint. Tropical roll is on of my faves, and we just discovered this oyster dish that's sooo tasty!

Always stop here when I'm in town. Type of place where you don't want to try another place because this place is memorably good, and you're afraid "the other place" won't be as good, and you'll be disappointed you spent $50-$60 on "the other place" and know you should've just went to Ryu.

1st time at Sushi Ryu and the food was incredible. The service was fast and our drinks refilled often. I'd definitely recommend Sushi Ryu!

Had lunch there today- bento box - good price, great variety. Servers were polite and we didn't wait long for food. Will definitely be back.

The best, most reliably high quality sushi in town. Fish is always great. Service is always wonderful. Highly recommend!

Was ignored for over 15 min after getting a table. Didn’t even get the menu. I got up and and asked if I could please order, and the waitress said she was coming. I was then ignored again for another 5 minutes and decided to leave. :(

Fantastic. Very accommodating and the food was quite delicious.

The monkey brains was wonderful, even if it wasn't chilled.
