We arrived at 5:07PM and to have our names added to the list of people waiting and were asked if we wanted inside of outside seating, to which we stated we would take first available. After waiting approximately 15 minutes outside my GF went inside to use the washroom and found the inside of the restaurant mostly empty. Upon approaching the hostess desk again they said we could sit anywhere so we chose a booth inside. After being seated and ordering, we proceeded to wait nearly and hour and saw tables that arrived 20-25 minutes AFTER we arrived begin to get their food. We brought it the the waitresses attention who said she would check then we saw two more tables also receive their food. At this point we asked for our food to go as it was getting ridiculous and had the server bring our bill. They did offer a 25% discount for the inconvenience. We then paid the bill and waited another 5-10 minutes for the to-go meal. After driving south and finding a place to sit by the ocean to enjoy our meals, we then found that one of the meals which we had requested an upgrade to a Caesar salad had come with their standard greed and potato salad. And absolute disaster from start to finish. Will never return!

We stopped in here for dinner on our way back to Victoria from Campbell River.
Definitely be prepared to wait--for a seat (especially if you want outside in their cute little garden), for a drink, for a chance to order your food, for your food, for your cheque, etc. The place is super busy and it's because it's a super cute and charming place with pretty good food, but make sure to give yourself a lot of time. Definitely worth a stop if you're in or going through the Nanaimo area.
They had some good NA beer selections as well, which is great when you need to keep driving haha :)

We went here on recommendation from a friend in Vancouver and it did not disappoint! We had a couple of pints of Guinness and the Yorkshire pudding with beef. It was to die for!! We even shared an extra one! We definitely want to return. They reat of the menu looked delicious too. Staff were excellent.

We arrived 30min after opening, and waited 30min to get to the host to have our name taken. After that we waited another 30min at the table to have our drinks arrive and 30min more for food to arrive.
Our main issue with this visit was that the host allowed other guests to skip the line and get a table before us without a reservation. Even when 10+ other guests complained the host shrugged and continued the preferential treatment.
Food and atmosphere were amazing, the staff were sorely lacking.
Charged my mom extra to split a beef dip on two plates ?? What a sleezy thing to do and a good way to lose business. And there was not any portions added for extras. I’ll take my business elsewhere!!

Warning should be dog friendly up to a point. If you dog gets excited around other dogs a server that isn't the one you currently have will March over and tell tou this is a first warning and if they have to come back they will ask you to leave. Even though your dog was good 45 min before getting a seat and the 20 min after you sat down enjoying. As an owner we do not want our dogs barking and we understand how it disrupts the rest. Thank you for accepting them but have some compassion. Give us a moment to let us relax the dog and don't be a rude about it. We are there for a good atmosphere as well. My dog was well behaved after the shout bout of barking.
