Small but mighty! Live music, cozy, classic bar. Like dive feels, but better! This is my favorite place in Nanaimo! The workers are FANTASTIC. Jose works hard, is friendly, and makes great drinks. Sit at the bar, or at a table. Place fills up fast and can become a party. Other nights, quieter and very chill. I love the art hanging up that's local, and supporting local musicians. Thanks for everything!

Sonya and her staff are unfriendly and unwelcoming. Arguing over drink prices that their menu clearly states and getting defensive when asked and pointed out their mistakes. Sure, the service was fast but they lack respect for the customers. Also, after sitting in the bar for over 30 minutes (it was past midnight at this time) they came around and expected us to pay a $10 cover charge. I’ve never seen or heard of a bar charging you AFTER you’ve walked in and ordered drinks. Do better guys, I will not be coming back and giving you business since you don’t deserve it.

Makes amazing drinks, amazing deserts and if she sees you in the streets watch out you’ll get one of her soft and tender hugs.
Zero cocky arrogance that you get from most bar owners.
