in any other city, it'd be hard to find a hipster cafe like this. in nanaimo, it's our only good cafe! great vibes, always lots of people here doing work, and good food and drink. also open pretty late and frequently hosts events. the bazaar upstairs is good too.
Definitely love the cafe, the vibe, the interior, and the food! Such a lovely cafe with the antique concept. Tha food was great and large portion, I would say worth the price! We ordered the Vault salad, Lox bagel and the french toast, they all tasted wonderful! I also love how they have couple box of trivia game cards while you wait or to play with your friends. The staffs were great, too; friendly and helpful. Would definitely want to come back again.
Amanda Scott runs a club worthy of good report. I'm a semi-regular performer at the Open Mic there on Wednesday's and I've always been well received for my ambient classical piano sonatas.
