As coffee shops go, one may be tempted to imagine that all Tim Horton’s are the same. They are not.
My 5 star review of this particular location on Northfield is due to many factors: the generously long drive-thru lane; the quality hockey-themed dark wood tables and chairs; the availability of the double chocolate donut (not available at all locations); the overall cleanliness and easy accessibility of washrooms - WITHOUT having to get an access key from staff; the option to enjoy your coffee break with authentic mugs and saucers; and of course…the wonderful staff; including the lovely AMANDA, who is always dressed professionally and colourfully, putting a daily smile on customers’ faces.
Winter time is here, and for most drivers, a hot cup of something at Tim’s is in order. This particular Tim’s would be my top choice in all of Nanaimo.

The Manager on shift older woman blonde hair usually in a pony tail is so rude and berates staff in front of customers I’ve seen on multiple occasions . Very unprofessional and as a manager I would never do the same.

It was amazing they were out of hash browns so i had to wait an extra 4 minutes can you believe that but that isn't a problem so I waited 4 minutes after I got my food they asked if I wanted a free pastry or hash browns I politely declined but amazing service

The best Tim Hortons in the town. The staff is super friendly (great people) and the food is always hot and fresh. I usually don’t leave google reviews, but this location deserves it. They always have the food item or drink I’m looking for and the taste says they put effort in their work. Also, the store is always clean and tidy. Lots of parking as well. No matter which Tim’s is closest to me, I always drive to this Tim’s to grab my food, even if its far.
Of all the Tim’s I have been to in Canada, this one is easily the best.
