Smallest most overpriced fish and chips I've ever visited in the world out of over 100 fish and chips places. Fish was small and thin,but cooked well,fries were soggy and over fried, runny tartar sauce

Fancy fish and chips... this is the place to be. Directly on the harbour. Don't expect a luxury restaurant, just a few tables on a pontoon. But the food was delicious.

Great fish and chips spot, the halibut are so fresh, and the portion of fries is huge! You get three boxes for two fries, it’s definitely bit pricey but worth it.

We made a day trip to Nanaimo today, came across trollers fish place at the Harbour, omg, the fish was so goooood, the freshness, the perfect batter, the perfect service and atmosphere, five stars all the way!

Great little spot for fish and chips right on the water!
Service was fast and friendly, food was tasty, and portion size was good. A two piece cod and chips easily fed two!

Cool place. It's set up on a dock so you get the experience of floating on the water. I got their salmon burger and it was really good! Not only was the salmon of high quality (it was a cut of whole salmon, not a salmon patty), the composition of the burger was interesting - I loved the juicy grilled pineapple and sweet bbq glaze. The burger came with fries. I’m not a big fries person but once in a while I’ll eat them and I thought theirs were pretty good; I liked the light seasoning. The two others I was there with ordered fish and chips and I was dipping the fries in their tartar sauce - it was so good! Lots of dill and didn’t just taste like mayo. The service was friendly and they brought our food to our table when it was ready, which was nice. I was surprised that it was pretty quiet while we were there, Saturday around 11:30, but it seemed like it was picking up a little as we were leaving.

Overpriced, portions are quite small. Food was OK, with the chowder being the only real big disappointment. Seating is awkward for groups of more than 2 people.
