Two Sparrows Cupcakes & Coffee Bar

Was feeling really sad before leaving the mall to head back home to Port Alberni, it had been a really long day... And it was like 5 minutes to close and I stopped in for a cupcake and I'm so happy I did! I love the "Ericas (?) birthday" cupcake.. I don't know who Erica is but that's the best cupcake I've ever had ?

Genuinely I don't like to leave bad reviews, I like to give the benefit of doubt. Like maybe they had an off day or something y'know. Unfortunately these are consistently the worst cupcakes I have ever tasted ☹️ the vanilla chocolate cupcake was inedible and I LOVE cupcakes usually and will eat even a bad one. The chocolate frosting didn't take like chocolate at all and actually tasted like spoiled milk, after getting the opinion of the group of people around me, who agreed, I actually threw it out. My parents got the Nanaimo bar one but it was almost as bad. I also didn't feel like the lady who helped us had much customer service skills, not much friendliness from her at all. My mocha was good but the drip coffee was watery at this time.

Dietary restrictions: Excellent gluten free cupcakes! Delicious, wonderful flavours, moist, perfect texture, loved by non gluten free people, as well, who couldn't even tell they WERE gluten free. Super tasty. 5/5. Lovely people, too. Would highly recommend.

These ladies are AMAZING!!! I live in another town, & was unable to be there for my daughter’s birthday last week. She is also overdue to give birth.I wanted to surprise her with her favourite flavour cupcake. Not only did these ladies make a special batch for me, they delivered them directly to her door! They even offered to take them to the hospital if she went into labour!!!They texted before they were going to deliver them & asked if they wanted coffee or lattes as well.Talk about going above and beyond!!!!!I can’t wait to go there to thank them in person.PS……. The cupcakes are fabulous too!!!!!!

It's really frustrating to read gluten free / dairy free as part of your offerings and come into your store and find zero items offered. Adding to the frustration is that I tried to call the number on the website and the call went unanswered. Truly disappointed and frustrated and angry.

Having to pay for your own packaging is insulting never mind the old stale cupcakes. I feel sorry for your staff with your insane policy to not provide packaging included in your pricing. We will never support this kind of product never mind how I was treated for not wanting to buy plastics. Insane and good luck with that.

I had a gluten free vegan cupcake and it was delicious! The icing was light and creamy. I will definitely be going back for more!

outstanding service! i live eastern US and called to order birthday cupcakes for a friend. They blew my expectations out of the water with the cute designs and even added a goody bag! if i’m ever in the area i’ll have to stop in and try the cupcakes for myself but my friend says they are delicious!

I really hate to put down someone's baking but I bought two cupcakes and they're not edible, I threw them away after trying a bite of each.The Vanilla Cupcake was overbaked, had very little flavor and the icing was way too sweet and gritty.The Nanaimo Bar Cupcake was even more dry, had an unpleasant flavor and again the icing was too sweet, gritty and left a greasy residue in my mouth.I wouldn't recommend ??
