Food was great arrived promptly and was freshly made. We had the tempura prawns which were nicely crunchy but very tender inside. Then we had a vegetarian dragon roll and it was superb and beautifully prepared. Also fried tofu cubes. The menu is quite extensive and many diners were enjoying the bento boxes which sounded great! They also have a takeout cooler with preprepared sushi that you could grab and go. This is a must try approachable and friendly japanese restaurant. Recommended.
Went back a month later and due to my food preferences had almost the same meal. But this time ordered the yam and prawn tempura. Wow the yam rounds were huge with a very non greasy crunchy exterior and perfectly cooked yummy interior. They were giant coins of yam.. highly recommended. Also for the exams this time and the serving was quite large! A good counterpoint to the fried tempura.

Went to pick up a take out order placed over phone and the front lady was extremely rude and hostile. She also did not apply the 15% No-AC discount to the order. I only noticed this after.
Once I paid, I was told it would be ready in a few minutes. My friends and I waited for about 20 minutes, then one of us went up. A different lady turned around and immediately found our order sitting there. How long was it there? Not sure, but I suspect the lady who initially served us was holding some sort of resentment and didn't bother giving it to us.
Would not recommend unless you enjoy actively hostile service!

Amazing food, super nice staff, great place all around. We're visiting from California and my father in law took us here, his favorite sushi place. We met John who was so welcoming and kind.
We had the gyoza, lunch boxes, and several rolls (dragon), and their toro roll. Generous sizes and delicious. My son's favorite sushi restaurant now too. Thank you John!

Been here a few times. Need GF (celiac) and ordered the agedashi tofu which was marked GF the menu. It was served with a dipping sauce and I asked if was gluten free out of habit and was surprised that it is NOT. If I hadn’t asked, I would have been glutened. Please do better with your menu labeling. Otherwise decent sushi with nice fresh fish and rice.

Great food and service. The sushi was really good, the kitchen staff all said hi to us, and I watched the server rush us a new set of chop sticks when my wife dropped hers.

My favorite Japanese restaurant for sushi. Ordered a couple of platters to feed eight people. Two guests were complete novices but were really happy with selection.

Some of the most flavorful and fresh sashimi I have had for some time... and a nice presentation. A truly great value. Miso soup was inexpensive, but good. Free tea was a nice touch.
