Best vegan poutine there is!

Tried this poutine at the Saanich fair and it’s insanely good! They have so many options for different dietary needs it was awesome.

Ok I think poutine is my favorite food in the world to eat. I was soo soo sooo excited to get one from here finally. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed.

I feel bad about this but I have to write about my experience at the night market with the food truck. I got the hamburger poutine with extra cheese. Well I got all of the toppings I asked for but.... and I am not joking I had only about 5-10 fries on the bottom and no extra cheese even though I paid for it. I was so upset because I love a good hand cut frie. I was let down.

Worst poutine ever, prices are insanely expensive for the quality and taste. YUCK. Didn’t even eat it. Threw it out after one bite.

The Burger Poutine is too die as I had it on Canada day up in Parksville and actually recommend that one over the Maple Bacon flavor that I had as a first time experience and also highly recommend getting a float for a drink along side your Poutine

The most incredible poutine! The ladies serving up the poutine are kind and super efficient, serving creative and delicious options for vegans and meat eaters alike. Amazing! I tried the vegan burger poutine and loved it but my fav is the classic vegan, soooo good. Can’t wait to visit this food truck again. Thanks for catering to us plant eaters, much appreciated.

I was there yesterday i'm from Ontario on the border of Quebec and that's was the pest poutine I've had here in the last 25 uears excellent excellent poutine you have to try it don't disappoint yourself try one you will be glad you did there just amazing

Worst poutine ever. fries were cold and under-cooked, poutine sauce, thick, extremely salty and cold. kind of looked like brown jello on fries.

Not the first time I was disappointed... but after today's poutine purchase at the VIEX, I feel strongly enough to write this review. Serving cold poutine to customers is bad business. It was a semi rainy and chilly day and nearing the end of the VIEX fair I wanted to share a hot and gooey poutine with my 8 year old. What I got was cold fries with lukewarm gravy which barely melted the cheese curds. What should have been a hot comforting dish was not enjoyable and triggered my son saying.. "this is cold, can we go to the mall and get New York Fries poutine instead " I'm kicking myself for not going back to ask for a hot serving or my money back. Because every $12 counts these days. Living in Nanaimo there aren't that many options for good food.. I don't think I'll be giving my money to this food truck again.

Amazing food, amazing service. Rarely been happier than with a Van Isle Poutinerie poutine in my hand. If you see the truck don't hesitate to turn around and visit Danielle and Ashley.

This company knows how to poutine! I had the pleasure of being served by them at the Coombs rodeo (several times as alot of my friends ate here). The staff is super friendly, fast and efficient! The ingredients are fresh and full of flavour. They are celiac and gluten free. Everything on their truck is recycle and compostable. I can’t say enough nice things about Van Isle Poutinerie. I highly recommend you eat here any chance you get! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing friendly staff and the best poutine I've ever had!

EAT HERE!! Absolutely wonderful poutine!!! The vegan bacon is to die for & such a great menu / options for those who have dietary restrictions.
