We went to visit family in Victoria/Nanaimo, BC in July and we decided to also celebrate our son's fifth birthday. While visiting my sister in Nanaimo, I contacted VV's Pastries and they were able to make my son's birthday cake within days. Everyone loved the cake (from the look to the taste). The cake was not too sweet, it was fluffy and the fruits tasted fresh. In my son's 5 years, this is the best custom birthday cake we've had. I high recommend VV's Pastries.

Love their cakes. Have ordered many times and will continue ordering. Just the perfect amount of sweetness, fluffy. as we are not fans of traditional cakes as it’s just too dense and too sweet.

ordered 8” chiffon mango filling cake with custom design and it was a hit! the cake was moist and delicious! I had to make sure I had a piece before it was gone!

I am beyond impressed with these guys! I was in a bit of a desperate spot to get a cake for my husband‘s birthday the day before (of course leaving it to the last minute ) and figured I’d end up with something from save on foods in a pinch, but I emailed on the off chance they could help me and they turned around a gorgeous cake in less than 24 hours ..Everybody was raving about it. It was really incredible. Probably one of the best cakes I’ve ever had in my life.. I’m extremely grateful and will be back for sure!

Visited from NY for a birthday and ordered the Earl Grey cake with strawberry jam. Best decision ever! Delicious fluffy/moist cake and the cream had a strong tea flavor without being heavy or too sweet. Tastes like it was baked with love. Would definitely get it again when we’re back in the area!

I ordered the butterfly birthday cake and it was the most delicious/pretty cake ever. It's super fresh and has the perfect sugar level for cakes imo. They use cream as icing and it's the most tasty thing ever. I definitely recommend this shop! ?
