Above & Beyond! There are small businesses that are good and then there are small businesses that are next level. Where you can tell that everybody who works there really loves what they're doing and their co-workers. I can't believe how much these guys worked with me to find me something I could eat! I have ridiculous food restrictions and yet they found me options for a coffee drink plus one of the best dessert snacks I've had in years! The kind that I remember eating before I had to go gluten, soy and cow dairy free - talk about the impossible trifecta! I had the pecan dessert slice and I would have shown a picture except it was so damn good I coveted it and ate it without taking a photo.
I want to say a big thank you to the staff didn't give me grief or judgment over going next door to the bakery to find out the ingredients. And to the lovely gent who was working as the barista that day who got just the right amount of non Dairy Milk with the decaf coffee so that it actually tasted like coffee and not cardboard.
Y all were fantastic! I've been recommending you to everybody local and I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town

I stopped by 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 in Nanaimo last week to restock our coffee beans for home (is two coffees a day too much?). They always have such a great selection from local roasters, and I can never leave without grabbing one of their cappuccinos; always consistently delicious 😋 I also love the aesthetic of their space; they’ve kept the charm of the original structure while adding their own cozy, modern touches. It’s such a warm atmosphere to sit inside. I haven’t had a chance to try their bistro next door, 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐭, but I’ve only heard great things. My wife and I are definitely planning a visit soon! I highly recommend this place for a morning, afternoon and/or evening pick-me-up 😉!
It was already bustling with people from early morning ☕🐰 The vibe was cozy and warm — just the perfect spot for a rainy day. I had the bacon grilled cheese, a latte, and a slice of chocolate cake, and everything was so comforting and delicious. True to the café’s name, a white rabbit was peacefully having its breakfast outside the window — such a magical little moment! 🩵✨ Brunch here truly warmed my heart on this rainy morning.

I stopped here three times during my road trip across Canada — that’s how good it is! The café is bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with spaces for both chatting and getting work done at the mini workstations with privacy walls.
The matcha lattes were hands down the best I’ve had — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The Americanos were just as impressive: bold and full of flavor.
I also tried the charcuterie board to go and became instantly obsessed with their house-made crackers. And don’t even get me started on the chocolates — they were incredible! I’m still daydreaming about them a week later.
Whether you’re traveling through or a local, this place is absolutely worth a stop. You’ll see what you’ve been missing!
