Went in to see if they had calcium sulfate for making tofu, and the gentleman there found it for me right away and was just very nice. Good customer service.

Service levels of new owners was not near the previous owners.. we moved to the Metral location
Your website states your open till 6 pm and I arrive at 5:15pm and your closed. Either update your website or stay open till 6.
Google business listing said closed at 6pm, at the store shows closed at 5pm. Please update your listing as I drove down for no reason.

Very very wonderful staff! Great prices, and amazing customer service! Im sad I don't live in Nanaimo, because our local Alberta brew store is no where near as nice and welcoming!

We had an off batch and just assumed the wine was not great. A few weeks later when we were in the neighborhood we stopped by the store and talked to the owner. We were told to bring in what we have and were given a new batch free of charge. We decided to go with a different brand of kit and are hoping this one will turn out. The owner was so kind and helpful with us. Customer service ranks very high with this shop. Can't wait to return.
five star treatment, i walked into their store not knowing or liking wine much but they were patient with my indecisiveness and helped me choose a wine for my daughters wedding, 30 bottles of a pinot grigio with an added personal touch photo wine label and this was a hit. thank you for all your help. from start to finish!
