Great take out spot (not for eating in) I wept tears of joy the first time I had their Ginger Beef. Been a main stay for a decade, only reason I like coming back to Nanaimo. Haven't found anywhere else that can compare. Yangs will always come through.
If you're looking for generic Americanized Chinese food like lemon chicken and spring rolls, just go to Panda Express. Looking for dine in service? Forget about it. However, trust the Chinese guy: best pork fried rice on Vancouver Island. Ginger beef is an honourable mention.
Five stars for what we usually order!
We love their ginger beef. Usually just order that along with chicken chow mein and a few spring rolls. Good size portions are more than enough for the two of us. We always opt for takeout as it’s not very far from us and so much quicker than delivery.
