You can never go wrong dining at Zougla. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The food! Best steak in town. A landmark of Nanaimo,,,, put this on your list of best places to eat.

Absolutely amazing experience — first time here and definitely not the last! Everything from start to finish was perfect. The drinks, appetizers, and mains all came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. The service was spot-on — friendly, attentive, and efficient. I was so full by the end, I didn’t have room for dessert… but that just gives me a reason to come back! Highly recommend!

One of Nanaimo's nicer restaurants. Zougla has a quiet atmosphere, wonderful servers and a variety of menu items generally of Mediterranean origins. Seafood, steak and pasta are all represented. If you want a quiet, higher end meal in Nanaimo, you can't go wrong.

A wonderful restaurant to celebrate your birthday and anniversary or just to have a very pleasant delicious meal!
I liked the food but it was not anything special. Took a chance on lamb chop special. It wasn't bad the chops were a bit thin but you got four. The Greek salad was bland as were the potatoes. The rice was passable. Not sure why I got rice and potatoes. Aside from that it was fantastic. My cider was ice cold .

Took our friends there for dinner on Thursday food was tasteless and bland. Lamb shank was small with processed gravy. No salt or pepper on Greek salad or our appetizer calamari. My spouse is Greek we told waitress would love to meet the owners and she said she’d let them know as they were there that evening. They never bothered to come meet us. We go to Asteras monthly and they are 100% better than this place. Do yourself a favour and go to Asteras.
