If you enjoy an extra serving of a See You Next Tuesday, then this "coffee shop" is right up your alley. The other low star reviews have the individual dialed in, so I don't need to add any extra comment here regarding the service I experienced.

A group of us (3 adults, 6 children) came for ice cream one quiet afternoon. The owner is the one who served us and was incredibly rude. Can we taste flavours? No. Can we have get two flavours? No. After paying upfront and tipping her (ugh, if only we'd known), she continued to be rude to us and said "jokingly" that my kid was demanding because he asked if he could have two flavours since she was providing two scoops anyhow. After all that, she was going to charge us for a single spoon. I said nevermind on principle alone. I don't think I can articulate how rude she was from beginning to end. Oh yeah, and the ice cream was mediocre at best. You're better off, price-wise and experience-wise, going to the supermarket across the street.

First time I was there, it was good coffee. The owner had a bit of attitude with us. But thought maybe she was having a bad day and I let that go. Next time I was there she was snotty to me. I made a mistake on my coffee order and I apologized and said out of good faith would buy the mistake coffee. She made a snot remark and ignored me and didn't respond. So i said I'll give you a good tip. So I stood there waiting and she said "I'M GOOD" and walked away. She literally snarled and frowned at me and walked away rudly. So I didn't leave a tip and said whatever. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I deserve respect.

Cute little shop with great coffee, we stopped on our way home from a Ducati Rally. Had a 12oz latte and it was delicious. Having read the comments below and experiencing this location a few times over the years now I would say we all need to recognize this is a owner/operated location in a very small town and not a commercial Starbucks/Tim Hortons in a big city with 4-6+ staff working. If there is a line up it may take some time but it’s worth it. Cut the staff some slack and enjoy the beautiful view and patio outside. Only thing to remember is it’s cash only and pubic washrooms are located down the street a very short walk away.

I bought 2 fresh ginger Snap cookies and wish I had bought more! And thanks for the suggestion of taking Hwy 31a over to Kaslo, it was an incredible stretch of scenery
