The lamb with baghali polo was equally impressive the meat was so soft it nearly melted in the mouth, complemented by the fragrant dill and fava bean rice that brought freshness and depth to the plate. The staff working at Akbar Joojeh Restaurant are very friendly and cheerful. They take great care of the tables, especially the lady who served us that day. As a waitress, Sahar was not only a beautiful lady but also very attentive and provided excellent service.
Additionally, Ms. Sahar chose a very nice table for us, which we really appreciated.

Overall, the staff are well-trained and show great care and attention to their customers...

I prefer to only eat Akbar joje in this place. I'll never get Kobide or Barg again. A restaurant that's good for Abar joje, not Kebab.

Service was attentive. Had the first dish on the menu Akbar joojeh the beef stew i wanted was not available. It was ok but not great as expected especially as all the dishes are priced relatively higher than other restaurants around. May be the kebab is good.

Food was good. koobideh and Joojeh was real meat. ghorme sabzi was over cooked but still delicious. I thought the price is on higher side but after eating it, I think it was worth it.

The food is not bad but tables are so close to each other that you have to turn on your side to move around. Awful awful setting. Very loud music and you can hear all conversation from tables around you.

Had such a good lunch at Akbar Joojeh in North Van. The food was tasty and perfect for sharing with friends. The lamb shoulder and beef were full of flavor, and portions were huge, we left totally stuffed. The vibe is casual and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. Definitely recommend for anyone craving great Persian food with good company.

My partner and I were astonished by this place. I’ll never eat Persian food anywhere else now !! I’m not even a fan of rice but this place made it so fluffy. Highlights were the grilled eggplant dip and shallot yogurt. Cornish chicken cooked to absolute perfection as well. Atmosphere extremely cozy

This restaurant has good quality. Although the prices are high, that’s not a big issue. What really matters is that the portion sizes for takeout meals are different from those served inside the restaurant. Also, the prices — for example, for marinated olives — vary between the North Vancouver branches. The prices listed on Google’s menu are also different from the restaurant’s own menu. I think management should pay attention to this matter. If they care about their business, they should address these small inconsistencies quickly, as they only bring a small, short-term profit but can harm the restaurant’s reputation in the long run.
