Altitudes Bistro

Regular occurrence to be seated and then left for 10-15 minutes before a server offers a glass of water or checks in to take an order. I gave up after fifteen minutes and just walked out today. Not the first time either. Consistently poor customer service.

This restaurant is all about its location and a must visit if you are visiting the Grouse Mountain. Its purpose is to offer exceptional views of Vancouver from the Grouse Mountain in a very cool, relaxed and luxurious.

I highly recommend the outdoor terrace seating or the even the indoor section which is in glass, overlooking the beautiful views of the Ocean.

The bar counter inside is also a friendly spot.

The food is good and the service is great.

Took a family group if 9 there last night. I am North Van local and have been here before. Shockingly poor service last night. One meal forgotten and 10 min late. Appetizer with large bowl of hummus and nearly no bread. Made us pay when we asked for a bit more bread. Slow to come around and nothing happened fast. In the end no discounts or anything. If it hadn't been a large group with service included, I definitely would not have tipped.

Im simply disappointed that there was so little attention being given to obvious things. I certainly won't rush up there again.

View is nice though.

Waiter was not very attentive and we had to ask multiple times for each request. Additionally a meal was missed and arrived 10 minutes after the other meals and was not on the house. Very unimpressed.

Nika was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Service was smooth, our drinks never sat empty, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

We went here for dinner on BC residents appreciation day and had a great time!! (Thank you!!)
First saw the grizzly bear habitat presentation and then the owl one, both had been great.
Then went to the Bistro where they had a DJ and Granville Island brewery doing tasters and specials. Fun!
We ordered the Buffalo chicken burger and the short rib poutine both yummy.
We got great service from Cece and Nick!
Happy to come back!
Ps.: we just had no luck with the weather, but still had a great time!

Great way to spend the day on top of the mountain. Staff is great especially our server Erin creating a great experirence for us! Definitely loves what she is doing and great passion! Erin is a great asset to Altitude!

Ideal spot for lunch. Food, drinks and service were all great. Matt the waiter was friendly and gave useful tips for other sights in Vancouver. The terrace is nice to sit and watch the world go by, and admire the mountains!

Nika was SO GREAT!!! Not only was her service perfect, but she was so kind, attentive and quick to get things if necessary. Nika is so helpful and made the dining environment 1000% more comfortable (even though it already was). If you get Nika as your server, know that you will be in the best hands at Altitudes!! Will be coming back to dine here if I ever come back to Grouse :)
