Apparently their coffee beans are left to ferment in the cherry which gives the bean a nutty taste. I'm probably not explaining it well but it's definitely the best black coffee I've ever had. Unfortunately the atmosphere in the shop feels a bit institutional. I would love to dress the place up with cozy and warm colours and textures. If they redecorated the place, it would probably become more of a neighbourhood favourite.

Friendly, charming Dan made me a flat white with beans from Ona- I couldn’t remember the last time I had such a great flatty… trust an Aussie to make one so spot on🙏 I took my coffee to go with me on my drive back down to Vancouver and was basically on cloud nine sipping on it during the drive… the nightmare of lions gate bridge didn’t even register in the midst of my caffeinated euphoric bliss.
