So sorry to see Belmondo Cafe close 🥺
They had the BEST scones in town—especially if you got them in the morning, still warm and fresh from the oven. Blueberry oat and coconut pineapple were personal favourites. Grabbing lunch here during the week was such a treat. You’ll be missed! 🌸

Great memories as a kid here! I’ll always remember this warm, friendly café—part of the neighborhood, with the best service, scones, teas, and coffee. Truly one of a kind and special memories!

It has been our favourite hangout cafe for over a decade, and we have so many fond memories. It's so sad that it will close for good tomorrow. We really like their Cheese and chive scone and Cafe latte. Will miss all the wonderful staffs and their hospitality.

I heard that they will be closed soon, so I came back to try their scone.
I think I haven’t been eaten REAL scone until I got their scone, it was amazing!!!
Softness, crispyness... Everything perfect ratio. My fav is raspberry one, it's really scrumptious.
Please try their scone before they gone.
I hope they will keep their new business somewhere in Vancouver again💖🤞

This place hums. Lots of regulars; construction workers, cyclists, and plenty of senior regulars. The food is lunch fare; good grilled sandwiches. But people come mostly for the home baked scones and cakes and cookies. They're very, very good. My professional baker friend praised how the scones were perfectly crisp outside, tender and moist inside. And the soups...the Soups! I keep expecting the customers to line up like the Seinfeld Soup Nazi skit. Start with the soup. And come back for more of the soups. Two on, each day. Prices are excellent.

Lovely little neighbourhood coffee shop. We have never been disappointed when we’ve gone. The sandwiches, baked goods, coffee and lattes are all delicious and they have some of the best prices!

Good food and coffee. Affordable compared to the post-covid world.

I keep coming back for the Turkey-Cranberry sandwich...it's the best one I've ever tasted.

Great little gem of a small independent cafe. Fresh home made pastries, tasty beverages and delightful staff.

Small, quaint coffee shop at a great value! Perfect spot to stop by for a quick sandwich and coffee. Seems like they haven’t increased their prices for some years now. Only downside is limited parking area outside store.

Their scones are notorious for a reason! The soups and the scones are to die for. I hope they stay in business even with the construction happening in the neighborhood.

I was told that coffee was supposed to have a similar smoothness to chocolate and this place has been the only cafe where I’ve experienced this. I’m a local of over 30 yrs and have lived everywhere in the lower mainland and I won’t go anywhere else to get coffee unless I have to.

I’m not a tipper at cafes either, unless the service is really good and the people are sincere and these people really are! They’re very kind, sincere and welcoming. When they’re going through a rush, I noticed how the team really works together to get everyone’s orders out efficiently and surprisingly fast. So I tip 20% every time I go now ☺️

I was told they make all their food in-house too!
