If you are looking for freshly baked pastries, this place is a must-visit. The pastries and danishes are delicious, and the variety of bars is amazing. I absolutely love it!

My favorites are the Opera Bar and the Elvis Bar, and when it comes to pastries, I can’t get enough of the cherry danish and cinnamon buns. so good!

If you ever get the chance to meet Tamara, she is truly wonderful. She pours her heart into the business and is always happy to help you out.

Amazing scones. Proper English scones. And they make their own butter +jam, which are delicious.

BjornBar Bakery is an absolute treat in the heart of Edgemont! The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by the most amazing smell of fresh-baked goods. Their bars and pastries are next-level—rich, creative, and made with so much love. I had a salted caramel bar and a latte, and both were perfection. The vibe is cozy and stylish, perfect for catching up with a friend or enjoying a quiet moment. A must-visit if you're in North Van!

I like it here. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff are generally friendly however the food quality has gone downhill considerably. Had a breakfast sandwich and they forgot to put the egg in it. All other baked goods have either shrunk in size or declined in quality. A further irritant is that they don’t post any prices. Anyway, if you don’t care about those things, it’s a good place to hang out.

of the three bars i tried, i liked the breakup bar the best. the base was slightly salty and had a nutty crunch. the cookie dough and chocolate was super fudgy and gooey, and the cream on top was super light and fluffy and paired super well. my second favourite was probably the oreo cheesecake, which was super smooth. the tiger bar was also yummy, with a nice crisp from the wafer. i wanted to try the elvis bar because i love chocolate banana desserts, but apparently the suppliers couldn’t get them??? i also tried the biscotti, and it wasn’t really what i imagined. it was kinda really hard and crunchy, not in a good way though. it was a lot better when i put it in the toaster and heated it up again, but still it wasn’t my favourite. the bars were all yummy though !

We stopped in to pickup some granola and sample the special hot chocolates as part of the festival.

I had the Totally Bananas Over You hot chocolate. It had banana and milk chocolate ganache with a peanut butter cookie on top.

It was creamy and sweet, you could definitely taste the banana! The peanut butter cookie went with it really well! When we come up here their sandwiches, baked goods and drinks are always really good!
