Ordered the eggnog latte to try it for the first time it tasted so bad i barely even took a sip. The staff at this time was really ~attitude~

Went again and had their peppermint chillo it’s good if you like those christmas drinks from Starbucks (you know the mint one). The staff I ordered from this time was really sweet and explained to me what the drink was.

I guess a lot of the staff just stay/go back and forth at the branch cause I always see people who just came from the outside just casually going inside the “kitchen area”/cashier so it kinda gives me some minus points in terms of how the place feels as a ‘business’. They occupy at least 2 tables too and it’s already really busy - and unsure whether they actually got off their shift or just want to wait for their friends.

Blenz Cafe makes the best coffee! Blenz has such a warm and friendly atmosphere, and her customer service is always amazing. You can truly see how much Marzieh cares about her customers. Highly recommend.

I ordered a coffee mocha with dark chocolate and regular milk at 8 pm on Sunday night it was tasting so good and the service was great and I liked the atmosphere of this store very calm and peaceful . The cashier was a Persian girl greeted everyone very polite and courteous.

Staff aren't very professional. They left the counter to sit down and have snacks and a loud conversation with a friend that walked in. Interesting dynamic......

I had a terrible experience at Blend Coffee in North Van. I went in and ordered a matcha coffee, and the barista was about to make it with regular milk. Since I’m lactose intolerant, I asked if she could make it with oat milk instead. The Persian girl behind the counter immediately told me it would be an extra charge.

Since when is a necessary alternative for a medical condition treated like an “upgrade”? It should be basic customer service to accommodate someone who can’t consume dairy, not penalize them for it. On top of that, she gave me attitude the entire time and even made a rude remark saying, “It doesn’t matter, even oat milk is milk, even if you’re lactose intolerant.” Clearly, she didn’t even know what lactose intolerance is, nor does she seem to know what oat milk is actually made from.

By that point, I just accepted the drink to avoid going back and forth with her attitude. And honestly? The drink itself was awful—it tasted nothing like what I ordered.

All in all: bad service, rude staff, and a drink that wasn’t worth the money. Definitely not going back.

My husband and I are fan of protein shakes and we tried it every branch of Blenz coffee, at least several branches in Vancouver, Burnuby and North vancouver. But the best is the one made by 15th at Lonsdale branch. The Lonsdale employees are very professional and provide good customer service. Special thanks to Roya & Marzieh
