I was expecting more from the bar from this famous place. I felt like an outsider. The staff weren’t friendly and the food was too salty. If you are looking for somewhere to have fun you’d better search for somewhere else. Overall if you are just hungry and want something to eat it’s okay but not for Fun and somewhere to make memories. I don’t want to be mean but as a immigrant I didn’t feel welcome. Maybe because of my accent :) .

Out of the Browns restaurants on this side of the water, this one had to have the most mixed experiences for me. The location is top notch for transit, but I imagine it may be be somewhat difficult to find parking. The ambiance and style of the restaurant is excellent, and bathrooms are always super clean. As for service, some of the best experiences I've had here, with kind and memorable staff. For me, one of the main draws of Browns in terms of food is the fries and pub food for me. However, unlike the other branches, this location is the most inconsistent. It has been a while since I have been back (I prefer the other Browns, as the quality is almost always guarenteed), but the fries on multiple occasions were a little undercooked, and some of the portions change from time to time. I've also noticed that compared to other Browns, the serving of wings seemed to be noticeably smaller. I recommend going during happy hour, as I have never really had a bad experience during! The gravy is always incredible though, a bit on the pricy side but worth for me.

The food was served promptly, it was hot and the usual bar variety, but fresh and not greasy. Server was particularly sweet and added an extra glass of wine to our bill.Ironically,I said to my husband, watch them seat us by the toilets even though there is tonnes of space closer to everyone else...bar, front of restaurant is seated primarily with males. No women. No couples in their sixties. This is us, two sixty-year- olds in this vaceous empty space with no one around us except when people came to use the toilets-just as I had jokingly said to my husband earlier. Alas, this is us now in our city. Never had this problem with the North Van Brown's.

Honestly, we don’t come to Browns that often, but we should!Their food is underrated.The Dragon bowl with Tofu was so flavorful, and the Alfredo with blackened chicken was equally delicious.Everything was fresh and tasty. We’ll definitely go back again!
