Best fish and chips anywhere in the lower mainland. All the locations have it dialed in. Big portions. I wish they had a manhattan style chowder on the menu, but thats not a deal breaker by any means. Go there, youll love it.

Great place to go for fish and chips on the North Shore. We decided to go with the halibut dinner which is a bit pricier but worth it. I’ll have to try the AYCE next time we come in. The food came quickly, the waitress was prompt and attentive. I never had an empty glass beside me. They always seem to be decently busy, the night we went it was full of couples and families. The decor is dated but I enjoy the no-nonsense charm of a place that’s just focused on serving quality food.

The North Van location looks great after its recent dining area expansion and refresh. Becca was a cheerful and efficient server. Great to see Jin is still out back cooking up some fantastic food.

Although it’s an AYCE you can still come here while you’re full. They will wait until you become hungry to get you any food.👎👎👎

My grandfather introduced me to this store. We are still going and enjoying the best fish and chips in town.

They use tallow not cheap oils

I was there for lunch today and ordered salmon. The fish had a neutral taste. It didn't even have salt. The chips tasted like leftover oil. It wasn't a good experience. I've tried other branches before and they were better.
I often order in Horseshoe Bay. Never a complaint
Today at around noon I had been to Wild Birds Unlimited about a hundred yards to the East and decided cod chips and a sleeve sounded pretty good as I had been on the move shopping all morning
I was met by a pretty girl , dark hair slim smile and persona. Maybe about 5’7”
I was served by a very dour person. She did not seem to like her job or maybe just me - for no apparent reason. Not a glimmer of a smile anywhere
I used to waitress - for years - mostly I am just so understanding - but not today
I ordered one piece cod and added 3 prawns and a honey lager
My meal arrived. Shrivelled prawns. I know what I am taking about I order in Horseshoe Bay regularly and the piece of cod was thin way too crisped and mostly batter
All things combined my meal arrived. It was way below par. The dour was obliging but that was it
A horrible experience. I paid $10 for my half consumed lager and left
Still hungry I drove down Pemberton to La Tacqueria ordered a Baja taco for under $10 and lived happily for the rest of my afternoon …

Good quality food in this chip shop. I also really like how you can order just the fish without the fries for a good price.

An excellent experience. The waitress we had was awesome and kept coming to the table to see if there was anything we needed . I have told my friends about this place and they enjoyed it too.
