I loved this place, from the moment we arrived they welcomed us very well and were kind enough to help us decide the best breakfast option. The food was 10/10, totally recommended. We would return without a doubt.

Charcuterie board was supposed to have artisanal cheeses. It had mild, processed cheddar-like cheese that had obviously come in individual plastic packaging like you'd put in a kids lunch. The charcuterie was mediocre - 3 slices of salami and a bit of prosciutto. Marinaded olives tasted like any major brand of jarred olives from the grocery store. I had a Deep Cove IPA to go with it. It tasted like a mild pale ale - definitely not an IPA. It was cafeteria style so I had to pay before I got my food else I would not have tipped 20%.

My boyfriend told me about this coffee shop, and I'm so happy we went there. By the way, it’s hard to find a parking spot on weekends. If you enjoy walking, it’s better to park farther away and walk there.

Amazing and beautiful! I have been living in the area for 3 years, most of the time when you visit Deep Cove you only walk in the first block and that is a big mistake because this coffee is amazing! The tomato soup is delicious (the best soup I have ever tried).
The decoration is ideal for social media photos.
The restrooms are clean.
The staff is friendly.
The price is really reasonable.
Next time you visit Deep Cove stop by.

Iced caramel macchiato w/ oat milk so good I could’ve kissed the barista (with consent)
Menu on the wall is outdated but very cute. Super clean and comfy seating. Tastefully decorated. Lots of bear related paraphernalia? I thought that was funny and random. Now that I’m think about it, it makes perfect sense because Orso is Italian for bear LMAO!
Local artists featured. A big mirror and I love looking at myself. Barista was kind and they had pretty hair and cool tattoos. Will be back for sure!

Had breakfast here with my husband. He ordered the waffles with salted caramel, and I opted for the featured items: half an avocado toast plus tomato soup.
The food and options were average. The waffles were dry and tasted like they were pre-packaged. You can never go wrong with avocado toast, though! I was pleasantly surprised by the portion size - it was just right despite being labeled as half. I also enjoyed the oatmilk latte which was a highlight.
The location and ambiance were pleasant, and the place was clean and aesthetic.
Overall, its a good spot if you’re just looking for good coffee, but not the best choice for a full breakfast experience.

Cafe Orso in North Vancouver is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home. The ambiance is cozy and chic, perfect for a relaxing coffee break or catching up with friends.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the owner, Rafael. He is not only incredibly welcoming but also passionate about his craft. Rafael's attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the cafe, from the beautifully crafted drinks to the thoughtfully curated menu. The coffee is outstanding—rich, smooth, and brewed to perfection. The food offerings are just as impressive, with a great selection of fresh, delicious options that cater to all tastes.
Rafael went above and beyond to ensure that my visit was memorable, and it's clear that he genuinely cares about his customers. His dedication to quality and service shines through, making Cafe Orso a must-visit spot in North Vancouver. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional cafe experience.

It was a bit lacking in terms of customer service when we arrived and wanted to order, but we got the European breakfast, the three waffle dish, and a cheese scone along with some coffee.
Don’t have much positive to say about the European breakfast to be honest, I was definitely underwhelmed when it arrived at the table. The waffle was nearly identical to the pre packaged ones but less soft, the bread was tasty but for the cheese and cured meats it wasn’t enough, and the strawberry jam was mostly jelly. Coffee was good, guess I shouldn’t have expected too much from a coffee shop but reviews seemed promising.
