The location is great, the food is really good, prices won't break the bank, and the service is friendly. The company though, my babe, is always the best part!

Friendly staff. With the nice weather the retractable doors were open for fresh air. Lots of variety on the menu.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience here. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The authenticity of the food was incredible. It was better than our recent trip to Mexico! We finally have found a great place to dine. We highly recommend Cantina Norte.

5 at the table no extra salsa for nachos. Same portions given to table of two. Kids ordered cheese quesadillas no salsa came with it. Chili rellenos was disappointing. I thought they had fajitas but didn't see it on the menu. Apparently the chicken enchiladas were okay. Not sure I would return. Maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen.

Food choice was varied and excellent. The only complaint was the noise level was somewhat noisy at times.

Cantina Norte is a neighbourhood gem ... fabulous place for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner. Our dinner tonight was delicious and the service was excellent. Always a pleasure!!

I filled in the reservation requesting a booth and noting that both my friend and I were celebrating our birthdays. We were shoved in a busy, noisy spot, spoiling the intimacy of the dinner, and mostly ignored. No mention of birthdays. Food is fantastic. Ambience: unpleasantly noisy and busy. Service: flippant.

We love visiting Cantina Norte. We don't live in North Vancouver but when we visit it is a must. Great restaurant!

Great spot to go to before a musical at Highland Chirch. The restaurant gave us a discount as we weee seeing the show. Great way to support the community. Great cocktails. Fun atmosphere.

We always have a great meal and delicious cocktails at Cantina Norte. The servers are also very amenable to modifications and requests - including things that may not be on the menu but they think we’d enjoy. We’ve never been disappointed.

Great to have a more upscale Mexican food option in North Vancouver. Really delicious food with reasonable prices and portions.

I have been here several times and i tend to order the same thing ( duck mole) because the first time was incredible.

However this time I ordered the duck mole and I knew it was going to be slightly different due to how the cook was checking it several times before sending it out ( you can see into the kitchen through the window from where I was seated and he kept looking at me as it was being brought out and watched my first bite) . It was undercooked. I had my friend try a piece to confirm as I do not like sending things back . I sent it back and the server was a bit condescending when she asked me how I like it cooked and was informed that it was medium rare ( there was significant bleeding on the plate) , so I asked for it to be medium to medium well . The next duck I received was well done , dry and tough to chew.

Due to this experience I cannot give them a raving review as I would have from the first several visits.

Our server was very friendly and attentive, we were a large group we got separate bill and some of us share a few things which make her life complicated, but she was very professional and accommodating. 👏🏼 I forgot her name but I loved her since she asked for my ID( I'm over 30).

The food is good, some Interesting flavors and good portions, nothing really make me fall in love but it was ok.

The atmosphere is like any family restaurant.

Definitely the best part of the experience is the staff, the will make sure that you have a good time🥳👏🏼
