I ordered the fish tacos, which were very disappointing. The portion only came with 2 tacos with very little fish and lots of filler vegetables. This is definitely not worth the $20 - a rip off. I had the chicken pot pie and shepherd's pie which were okay. A little salty. The shepherd's pie had imitation crab which is surprising because it's a "seafood restaurant". The fries were yummy. The service was mediocre. The server seemed irritated and upset. I will not come back.

Because they are closing soon, we wanted to give the last chance , but it went from bad to worse . We arrived for early dinner late lunch before 3pm and rude busy waitresses asked us to wait between 5 to 10 minutes ….. we waited for 20 minutes and to attention …. So we left …. I guess the bad memories will remain now forever in our side . Those rude waitresses never learnt customer service . It seems that owner is retiring , this is because they are closing forever …. Besides too much competition in the area and with such customer service ….. no success at all

I dropped in here for a beer, nice staff and good selection. Daughter had a lemonade and did some art while we took a break. Good place to chill while your wife gets her hair done in the salon a few stores over. They even comped my daughter's lemonade, Thank you! Great patio with ocean view.

Great all around! went for lunch here today after several friends had recommended it and it did not disappoint. Their menu was ample and quite varied and prices quite competitive. The service was great; they were short staffed but our server Jana was amazing; friendly, courteous and accommodating the desserts were epic and I had the meatloaf...it was juicy and well served!! highly recommend this place atop Lonsdale Quay with a great view and nice patio!! THX

Great restaurant with lovely interior located right on the waterfront in North Van. Staff was amazing and the fish & chips was good, too. However, the steak and shrimps on mashed potatoes was mediocre and lacked presentation.

Excellent fish and chips, oyster and chips and onion soup. Our party loved it. Servers were attentive and food came out quickly. The chips were somewhat soggy. Could use a little more frying time, to be honest.

This restaurant is superb. The chef turns out remarkable excellent meals taking pub style menu to the next level. The waitress was super and provided excellent service. The seafood and meat offerings are delicious and pare well with a red wine or cold brew. I will definitely come back if I am in the North Vancouver area again.

Used to be my go to brunch place when I come over to North Van but it’s gone down hill quickly since I believe new owners took over. The prices have sky rocketed and the portions have got smaller. I ordered a beef dip ($20) and it had Im not kidding 7 fries on the plate. Cactus Club opening literally 30 feet away soon …… get it together CC or I fear your days are done.

A basic restaurant at the market. The best we can find that had something for everyone, we were hangry. Seems like everywhere is short-staffed, but I was impressed by our waitress memorizing everything we ordered given that she was managing almost all the tables. When we first walked in, I asked the hostess if we can sit outside and she just said "no". Nothing else. And I guess my face said it all because then she continued saying it's all taken. I thought she was blatantly denying us outdoor seating haha! I ordered the crab melt which was an open-faced sando and lots of cheese. Kind of tasted like a seafood pizza. It was good but not memorable. My friend ordered the special, turkey gravy sando, and she enjoyed it. My other homegirl ordered the burger which she believed the patty was frozen and it was lackluster. She enjoyed the french onion soup though. After finishing our meals, again we were hangry, the waitress was trying to be funny but said "wow good job girls, I gotta tell the kitchen that it was a table of girls who ate all of this". HUH?? Luckily we're not that sensitive.

Wonderful little restaurant right on the water. Great food and exceptional customer service. We went for lunch and had such a nice time, our waitress was so nice and friendly, checking in on us at exactly the right times, and we got our food and drinks I'm a timely fashion. Definitely our new favorite date spot. Thank you for the lovely afternoon!

This was a surprise find. Never knew about this restaurant but sort of stumbled into it because the market was closing so soon on a Sunday night. As we browsed around for a place to grab a bite, Cheshire presented itself. ? was a very pleasant find. Great comfort food options with all the yummy pies ?, stew, prime rib and much more options at reasonable prices. We had the Irish ☘️ lamb stew and seafood pie for first time as highly recommended and was all good. One small note the seafood pie could have been a little hotter in temp. Stew was piping hot and delicious with fresh crunchy veggies ? service was great. We will be back to try other pies ?

My sister in law in Australia did a Google search for the best steak and kidney pie(my fave) in Vancouver. The Cheshire Cheese was the winner, so off we went for my birthday. The pie was fantastic as was the service. The cherry on top was meeting some new friends. We hit it off so well we met then at the 'Cheese a second time. Could become our new local.

I had chicken tenders and was quite tasty. Hubby had calmari. Was very good. Tender. Salads were fresh. Homemade dill dressing and honey mustard dip. Would recommend. Service top notch.
