Poor quality food: I ordered the “beef” tacos and they gave me ground beef mixed with potatoes (to make it work) and also without flavor, the staff speaking rudely inside the establishment and the guy who charges super bad attitude and not at all helpful. We will never eat from this place again, the worst service and bad food, I asked them for lemons and they responded with a bad attitude "they don't have lemons there." Not recommended at all.

Rude staff, terrible nachos. I wouldnt recommend their cooked foods as everything is made in the microwave. The chicken tasted like canned chicken that was left in the original chunk. Id only recommend the food you can bring home such as the tortilla chips/pico de gallo. Everything else was terrible,

The food is really delicious and the servers are really friendly.Loved the vibe inside the Lonsdale market and especially this restaurant.I ordered 6 chicken taquitos with chips and guacamole which was $16 and really worth the price, moreover, this was enough for 2 people and was really delicious. Also, I went there again and had 3 chicken taquitos with crema in the kids menu and it was only $7 which was really good. Do try their other dishes and you would love it there.Visit during summer for the best vibes and ambience.

Stood at the "Order Here" spot for 5 mins before I was even acknowledged by any of the 4 staff working. Placed an order for a Taco Salad and was told, "we are out of taco bowls" I told the staff member "ok, give me a moment to pick something else" at this point staff member headed back to the prep table where she proceeded to put food from the table into her mouth.....with her hands! She then reluctantly returned and asked me "So what do you want now" I told her....NOTHING!! First I feel like I have inconvenienced you and I am a paying customer, secondly you put food in your mouth from the prep table and that is very unhygenic. I will NEVER again purchase anything from this place. Hopefully the owner reminds his staff about proper customer service and also enforces some public health regulations!

I got the two beef taco meal. The service was decent. Very pleasant staff and it took about 5-7mins to get my meal on a moderately busy day. The food tasted really good. It was a nice sunny day so eating tacos while looking at the ocean was very nice.

Every time I stop by, they are all so helpful. The owner helped me the other day as I was picking up a bunch of items for a party I was throwing. I grabbed their pico de gallo, guacamole, refried beans, chips and a few other things. He saw I was interested in the cilantro jalapeno crema and threw that in for me free to try. Everyone at the party loved everything I got from them, from the tortillas to the crema. Everything is always SOOO fresh and you can't beat the prices. Grocery stores charge so much more for products that aren't freshly made or authentic - we need to support more shops like this one so they can continue providing such wonderful products and service. 20/10 in my books

Signs say kitchen is open until 5:30pm, but my wife and I watched the whole staff (minus one person who was tidying up the kitchen) take a lunch break at around 3:15 - 'service' (if you could call it that) didn't restart until around 4. We watched at least a dozen potential customers looking to order get confused by their kitchen open hours vs their lunch break sign and just leave.Their kitchen was open from about 4 - 4:30 before they decided to just close the kitchen.Echoing a lot of the recent reviews here, it's just absolutely terrible service and wouldn't go again. The staff look bored, and messed up orders even in that 30 minute window.

Who puts wet slop on top of crisp nachos and expects it to travel well? It was cold soggy gloppy mess.

Place used to be a gem, but like everything else at the Quay it too has gone down the drain. Horrible customer service, especially the guy who works the til who seems more interested being on his phone than taking your order. 20 bucks for soggy, bland food. No flavour or flare anymore.

Arrived before 430 in a Friday, website and handmade sign on the cash register says open till 6pm. I can see people eating at the tables nearby. They can see me and my daughter looking over the menu while hanging back before we are ready. We approach and a rude sloppy unprofessional tells us " sorry kitchen is closed, ok guys ".Told that chooch to take that sign off, and he rips it off in angry manner. All the reviews about customer service are 100% correct.Real Sad.
