Friendly staff, great book selection, and delicious drinks
Delightful staff, I tried the cinnamon bun latte and it was delicious! Really great atmosphere and a great book selection.
A Cozy Hidden Gem in Deep Cove
This bookstore cafe is now one of my favorite spots in Deep Cove. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are genuinely kind and helpful it’s rare to find service that feels this sincere.
The coffee and treats were delicious, and the space itself is perfect for unwinding with a book or catching up with a friend. If you’re ever in Deep Cove, make sure to stop by this place is full of charm and heart
Cute coffee shop and bookstore.
Great service from the 2 ladies. Coffee and pastries was great. Delicious homemade lemonade.
Great selection of books. Coffee and cinnamon buns are excellent!
My daughter and I discovered this sweet spot last week, and we are back again with our pup. It is our new favourite place for an afterschool pit stop by the sea, really great and charming selection of books, and a stonesthrow away from a walk to the beach, salmon berry picking and more. Our dog Cedar is very pleased with his complimentary treat on the patio. It feels like we are on vacation!
their strawberry London fog latte was fragrant only on the first sip, and the flavour of the strawberry overpowered the tea's aroma so it was unbalanced. but it was still good... on the first sip only
Would have been five stars had my reception been a little warmer
Great cinnamon buns, cozy place. The best go-to after Panorama hike
I absolutely love this cozy little spot at Deep Cove. It's the perfect blend of a compact coffee house and a tiny bookstore. The coffee is top-notch, and the selection of books is fantastic. Absolutely loved the chai latte also here. Whether you're looking to relax with a good book or catch up with friends over a cup of coffee, this place has it all. Highly recommend!

I like the concept of this place.
Let’s talk about the beverage 10/10 I tried the lavender London fog with oat milk. Cinnamon rolls 9/10 I love that they warm it, but the cream feels like you were eating just butter.
I am gonna be honest I prefer their F&B to the rest of Deep Cove shops.
The place is really small, if you are planning to come and read is better during the week.
What I would like to suggest to the owner is to have books that the customers can read while they are eating and drinking. I was afraid I could damage the sale books.
I would like to return.
Also, I would love for them to organize writing or reading workshops, book clubs, etc.
I used to come here when it was Covert Cafe. Though I will miss the previous owner, I was pleasantly surprised by this new shop. Their book selection is small but in very good taste for book lovers. I had walked by a few weeks ago and the owner came out to give my dog a free treat so I returned yesterday for a coffee and some brewing. Walked out with three novels and a smile on my face knowing there's a new place for book people in Deep Cove.
Was there over the weekend on a very wet Saturday evening. My wife and I enjoyed great conversation with the owner.. the cinnamon buns and coffe were incredible.. We'll be back many times over..
Their cinnamon coffee cake is phenomenal! Definitely the best cake I've had so far. If you like cinnamon, TRY IT!!
I went there and got a coffee; the taste was amazing. You can enjoy your coffee with the most beautiful ocean view. The staff were very kind and friendly. Highly recommended!
