I just had my first taste of the baking from this fine establishment. Wow! It is hard to find rich tasting melt-in-your-mouth gluten free cookies - and these are fabulous. Any cookie lover, gluten intolerant or not, would love them. I bought an assortment and am working m way through them. Yes, the coconut ones are amazing - and the almond - and the chickpea flour, and on and on. I might also add that these tasty things are also very reasonably priced. The folks here are also very helpful, friendly, and clearly great at what they do. Thank you!

Firstly they have outdoor chairs where you can sit and enjoy your goodies (even with the weather ❄️ it was nice to see outside). Second, their products are high-quality, and the flavor is really tasty. The price is $$ but it is worth it. A very clean space. I like the decor and the variety of products.
Such a lovely bakery food is amazing and the owners are so kind. I definitely recommend you try this place out if you’re looking for some big delicacies influence in the Middle East.

Golestan Bakery is in a great location in Lonsdale and offers a wide variety of baklavas, which I highly recommend. I wish I had taken photos of the baklavas because they were beautiful, flavorful, and all handmade. I tried one of their cookies, but it didn’t have much taste, so I’d really recommend going for their pistachio or walnut-flavored baklavas instead. It’s a lovely local spot, with friendly staff and by visiting, you’re supporting a family-run business
