the lamb was okay, but the kubideh was delicious and really flavourful. the portion was huge, especially how much rice we got. i also liked the pita, tomato, and adding a bit of lemon and butter (but it didn’t come with butter). the service could’ve been better, but it was takeout only so i’m not too fussed. the baklava was sweet and had a really strong cinnamon taste. kubideh was definitely the highlight though, next time i would just get the double kubideh skewer instead of the lamb and adding the kubideh skewer on top.

I got a portion of koobideh kebob, and they fixed the take-out container with rubber bands !!! The container lid had opened on my way to home, and the food all had been spilled out even with those rubber bands. I put it back in the container, and I closed it again, but after I arrived home, the food was totally cold and ruined because of this very cheap package !!! The package wasn't suitable for hot foods because the lid was fixed with rubber bands and my food was totally cold when i got home .The funny part of this story was when I tried to warm up my food in the microwave, and my microwave started to sparkle, and I understood the container is aluminum and aluminum containers are suitable for cold foods and not possible put them in the microwave.
It's really ridiculous that so-called brands like grab & go use rubber bands for their takeout containers. They wanted to save money on takeout containers from customer pocket, and they really did not care about the quality of the service.

We placed a group order for roughly 30 items, but every dish arrived burnt. To make matters worse, the cutlery and the bread & onion were missing. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with both the food quality and the order experience.

The grilled wings are the worst dish here. If you remove the skin and bones, there’s almost nothing left to eat because the wings are very small and few in number. However, the Akbar Joojeh and Chenjeh are better options for the price.

I have been buying food from this place since the Covid times and yesterday I bought rice and meet gravy but I can see the portion of the gravy is getting smaller and smaller which is not a good thing, I am very disappointed.
You can see the amount of the rice is normal but gravy unbelievable.

They have generous portions and fair prices with kind and polite staff. Quality is OK, but I think it was better when they first started.
I used to get buffet-style take out of delicious Persian food on Lonsdale, but they have since closed. Today I googled exactly this title, “grab and go,” and found them around 18th and Lonsdale. Busy waiting area, nothing fancy, but people seemed to be repeat customers. Lots of comms going on in Farsi. WORST Persian food I have ever eaten! I’m used to the lush, tasty foods or Iran, but this food took an hour to “grab”, and was absolutely tasteless. I saw the food prep staff pour some yellow liquid onto the rice, but it didn’t help anything with taste, but only colour. I had no idea that tastelessness would be possible for Persian food. I will have to try again on upper Lonsdale somewhere else. Prices were $8.99 for a single skewer of meat on rice, and $13.99 for a meat-based order, so as advertised, the prices were affordable, but the money was wasted. And I eat just about anything and review generously! Not this time, unfortunately.
And as for customer service, the teller dind’t know the price of the salad, said it was $5, but rang it up at $6.99, and when a call came in , she completely ignored me and deferred to the telephone without any apology.

"Disappointed by burnt kababs. The overcooked and charred kababs negatively impacted my experience. Restaurant should improve quality control to prevent this from happening."

I've ordered several times. Considering the price, the food is good, but it would have been much better if they had put two tomatoes with the kebab instead of just one.I will change my review if i see the changes😉🍅

Grab and Go is a Persian takeaway restaurant in North Vancouver that offers some solid options for a quick meal. The kabab is particularly good, perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. However, I was disappointed with the lamb shank; it had an off-putting smell that affected my enjoyment of the dish.
Overall, while there are hits and misses on the menu, the kababs make Grab and Go worth a visit for those craving Persian cuisine.

I bought kebab koobideh from this restaurant today, and it was really excellent. However, I wish they had used Iranian rice; then you would have experienced the true taste of the kebab. The only issue was the rice, which I hope will be resolved.
If you’re craving Persian meals then this is the place to go to. They have generous servings of freshly grilled kebabs that are affordable.
