The food quality and service at this restaurant remain excellent, though the sashimi portions have recently become smaller and more thinly sliced. While the decor is a bit dated and simple, the food is authentic, prepared by a Japanese chef, and consistently high quality.
Oh my gosh 🩷I just went with my mom this weekend and it was amazing. It has all the usual suspects and some other items you don’t see very often: tenzaru soba, smelt tempura, chawanmushi (steamed eggs). And the fresh sheet. Holy doodle were there fantastic features. We had Bofan Uni from Japan. It was so sweet and melted in your mouth. And I never like uni in restaurants but this was delicious. We had sea bream another sweet and delicate fish.
