The fried oil flavor was a bit too strong for my taste, so I didn’t find it very enjoyable. However, my companions really liked it, which makes me think this dish could be hit-or-miss depending on personal preference.

Best donuts in the city, just don't expect smiles at the counter as the place gets very busy! Get it to go and you won't be disappointed.

I came here after seeing many good reviews but was terribly disappointed with the customer service. An old lady at the counter was very unfriendly and was rude. Never going to come back.

As most other reviews say, the doughnuts were wonderful. I would come back for them specifically. I will agree with other reviews that customer service does not appear to be a priority. Particularly one of the older ladies behind the counter

Me and my partner recently went on a little vacay down to Vancouver and happened to stop at this gem. To start, the atmosphere was amazing. Sitting outside on a nice warm day with our delicious coffee and food was the best. The employees were the most kind and friendly people ever. Especially for working in an environment where it can definitely get easily hot and busy. These employees were super relaxed and had no stressors serving. So much where we had the pleasure of engaging in conversation with one of the young ladies who recognized us on our second trip there. The coffee was amazing with perfect ratios of the ingredients. The doughnuts were delicious, super sweet and tasty. My favorite personally, was the maple doughnut. I also got the bagel breakfast and it was so flavorful. The whole meal was just right to start the day! The views all around are beautiful as well. I totally recommend to stop at this place for a sweet treat or a nice meal. Super relaxing, super yummy food and overall a great experience!

Not really sure what the hype is about. The donuts were on the oily side and when compared to some of the other Vancouver heavy-weights were disappointing. Definately not worth the drive if thats the only reason you are going to Deep Cove.

Great spot to grab a bite after a hike! The donuts are big and super tasty. Not gonna lie, you can definitely feel the sugar and oil, but hey, you’ve earned it after that mountain walk. Expect a bit of a line since it’s a popular place. On hot days, being inside can get pretty warm, so maybe keep that in mind.

First time there and this lady that was serving was very rude and impatient. Wanted me to hurry up while I ordered. Donuts were disappointing. Very oily. Not a good taste.

Food was delicious but a bit over priced. My big reasoning for writing this review is the inappropriate behaviour of what I think was one of their mangers, and how she was acting towards customers and her staff. Scolded her staff INFRONT of customers and other staff over stupid little reasons. Could’ve easily pulled said employee aside to speak with her in a private place over the issue, no excuse to publicly humiliate the poor girl. Then proceeded to treat me (a customer) poorly. I asked nicely for a Maple Bacon donut and asked for the price of a cookie they had but had no listed price on. She proceeded to respond in an agressive and seemingly “annoyed” manner. She grabbed my donut and put it in a bag, and then proceeded to throw my donut bag on the plate, throw the bag, and walk to the back. After being abandoned, another worker came and asked if it was the maple donut I wanted. I let her know it was the Maple Bacon donut, specifically the one the lady threw onto the plate display and abandon a customer. Got my donut, and went to sit outside when the a manger came outside to explain why she threw the donut and “apologize.” She claims she had to put it down because she needed to wash her hands which had chocolate, still not excuse for the agressive presentation of her actions. I then proceeded to tell her in a calm but stern manner that I was also unhappy with how she treated her staff. She didn’t like that, told me she would never do such a thing, I must’ve mistaken her for someone else, got extremely defensive and scolded me, and stomped back inside all mad. Safe to say I won’t be wasting my money here again lol. I expect more from a cafe that expects their customers to pay $6 for a donut, and nearly $20 for a breakfast burrito. Only reason two stars was given was because my donut was yummy, but overall, truly disappointing experience.

I was recommended Mexican breakfast from staff at front, it was so good, ended up with honey classic, chocolate donuts as well.
Staff do an amazing job getting the line ups through fast especially in the summer.
