Goodness this place is busy, it always seems to be, even though there is a Starbucks next door. Be prepared to share a table while you work.

JJ Bean has always been my favorite place to get coffee. There’s something about JJ Bean — it’s my favorite coffee place in the city.

Very busy most of the time. Great in summer when the patio is habitable.

Service here has always been wonderful when attending with friends to catch up or to just finish up some work. Employees are always attentive and friendly.
My only issue with the place is that the music gets so loud and obnoxious and not coffee shop-y in the evenings to closing time. Lots of odd techno/classic renditions of pop songs that are just way too loud for an almost closing time/nearly empty coffee shop. It gets into a playlist that just doesn’t make sense. From a classical guitar/edm cover of Led zeppelin to a piano cover of forever young. It’s very confusing.

Great spot to sit in work, but Patio tables are screwed in too close to the bench suggest you move them back 2-3 inches for ergonomics
