The staff here are kind and respectful—no issue there. But the speed? Absolutely unbearable. Today there were five people working behind the bar, only two customers ahead of me, and it still took 15+ minutes for a basic latte.
They’re not chatting or slacking off—they’re just unbelievably slow. And that’s a problem.
With this pace, you simply can’t compete with places like Starbucks. Friendly doesn’t make up for inefficient.

Good coffee and a selection of vegan baked goods, including a few different flavored muffins, cookies, and a scone. Also offer a vegan wrap. I enjoyed a pumpkin apple muffin with my soy latte to go. Updated from previous review on 2025-01-24

It's a cozy, beautiful coffee shop. Service is polite and helpful. This place is conveniently located by the 17th East and Lonsdale. Unfortunately they close at 6 o'clock. The location at Park and Telford closes at 9 p.m, which is very convenient.
