I tried the soondae soup and the assorted soondae platter, and both were excellent.
The soup had a deep, clean flavor with no gamy smell at all. The combination of bean sprouts, green onions, and seasoning made it really comforting, and the portion was generous enough on its own.

The assorted soondae was even better than expected—soft, flavorful, and packed with filling. The intestines were cleaned very well, with no unpleasant taste, and the texture was spot on. The dipping sauces matched perfectly and made everything even more enjoyable.

The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
If you’re craving authentic Korean soondae or soondae soup, this is definitely a place worth revisiting.

Superb service, gave me tea while I waited a (very short time) at lunchtime on a Friday. The spicy pork neck soup was excellent value with a ton of meat, large daikon banchan, snd rice. The flavour was perfect, so glad to have this open up!

The food is the true highlight. Every dish is packed with rich, traditional Korean flavors. Having been to Korea multiple times, I can confidently say that Kim’s Family captures the authentic taste of real Korean cuisine. From the seasoning to the presentation, everything feels genuine and thoughtfully prepared.

If you’re looking for delicious, traditional Korean food with exceptional service, Kim’s Family is absolutely worth a visit.

I love this place. It is so cute inside and the staff is lovely. And they always give you a nice warm cup of green tea!! The food is always delicious. The Godzilla roll is a 10/10.

It’s our local favourite sushi place, since we moved to Vancouver almost a year ago. Always amazing service, super nice staff, so so friendly. It feels like family! Food is unbelievable, ingredients are so fresh and menu is big and prices are very friendly.
Me and my family absolutely love this place.

We had a great experience at JL Sushi! The service was impressively fast, and we lucked out with a great spot right away. We went with one of their preset meals and added a few extra dishes on the side. Everything was fresh and delicious. The rice to filling ratio was perfect, which made each bite really satisfying. Definitely a spot worth coming back to.
