Food is usually pretty good, priced well but I always feel rushed dining in. I was in for lunch today, the restaurant was quiet with only a couple of tables of people. Our server was polite but we felt so rushed ordering, she tried to take my plate away while I was finishing my last bite, then the bill came before we were even finished.

The food is delicious but the new staff need a bit of work to come up to scratch. We've had lunch and dinner several times here since this location opened off Lonsdale, replacing the one further up the road. The sushi is always terrific, a nice blend of classic and inspired creations with fresh ingredients. We noted some unusual items not usually on a traditional sushi menu but variety is the spice of life, so why no?The atmosphere is bright and new with lots of windows and an outside patio with heat lamps (once the weather dries and warms up) but the tall divider made it a bit hard to see the door from our seats. We mentioned we were expecting friends to join us and we had stand up each time someone new walked in order to see over the divider. Minor annoyance; we'll ask for seating on the other side next time.We understand good staff are hard to keep but new staff need a bit more awareness training. The table we were lead to wasn't cleaned before we were seated and we weren't offered tea. (Tea came in ordinary mugs; I miss the nice china teacups.) After the food arrived, we had to ask for small plates and the extra wasabi we requested when we ordered.During the meal, we had difficulty getting the waitress's attention (for more tea) and to clear the empty plates. She didn't inquire if we wanted anything else before she brought the bill. We might have... Small tweaks make the difference between mediocre and very good service and a larger tip.Overall, a nice spot for sushi conveniently located in North Vancouver, worth the short walk east from Lonsdale Ave, at 15th Street, across from Lions Gate Hospital. Limited street parking during the day but usually available within a block or so after 6 pm.

Ordered the fried roll combo. Food is always good and consistent. One of the best fried rolls around. Service is quick and easy. Restaurant is nice and clean and staff is very nice as well. Great place for a quick bite especially if you’re staying at the hospital or doing anything nearby hundred percent recommended.

THE SERVER DIPPED THEIR FINGERS IN MY UDON SOUP ??I usually enjoy Jordan Sushi and their food a lot. This was my fifth time going, and we ordered spicy seafood udon. While eating our food, the big spoon they provided kept on slipping in the soup and eventually completely went in the soup, even the handle part. We asked for extra spoon from the server, and later one of the female servers brought us new spoons. However, right after then, the server REACHED into the soup with her DIRTY HANDS and she picked up the spoon that went in the soup with her BARE HANDS. What the hell. I am sorry but I never even heard of a worker from a restaurant DIPPING THEIR DIRTY HANDS in customer’s food. Even worse, the server didn’t even apologise and just left. We were so disappointed and upset that we talked to her in a nice way, but all we got was just a fake “sorry” and never got to eat our friends again. HOW CAN SOMEONE WORKING AT A RESTAURANT HAVE NO COMMON SENSE LIKE THIS? Never going back, all the workers there are amateurs and clumsy.I went back because it was a place I usually enjoyed eating, but the ladle of udon noodles kept falling into the soup, so I asked for another ladle. Then, one of the female employees brought a ladle and then removed the ladle from the udon soup with her hand. Since you are a server and not a cook, of course your hands are not clean, and where did you learn the common sense of putting dirty fingers in a customer's food? It was so dirty that I couldn't eat it anymore. But he didn't even apologize, and when he brought it up later, the only response he got back was, "It's been a while since I started working." It's really absurd. I'm never going again. Don't come here. They have the worst service and they don't even apologize properly. Most of the employees seem like amateurs and they often forget when you ask for water. If you made a mistake, you should at least deal with it well. What on earth were you thinking? Please have some common sense and work hard.

Went AGAIN for their lunch sets! Super worth the price! Servings were huge! You need to order 1 set per person though. Their complimentary house tea was I think roasted rice flavor.

The fact that they stay open until midnight is a lifesaver. The staff is incredibly kind, providing excellent service, and the sushi is consistently fresh throughout their operating hours.

Was skeptical with the daunting menu and the prices that I saw online before I attended the restaurant. One would think it's a regular sushi place and why are the prices so high?Well you must visit to dispell that notion. Creative fusion dishes, clean atmosphere, bigger than average sushi portions, make this place a must try!

The beef yakisoba left much to be desired, earning it a mere 1 star in my book. After just five bites, I found myself unable to continue – the dish simply didn't meet expectations. The service, though passable, had its hiccups; our meals arrived at different times, and while the server inquired about my wife's satisfaction with her California roll, there was a notable lack of attention towards the disappointing yakisoba. On a positive note, the water was refreshing. Unfortunately, this experience felt like a wasted investment, prompting us to seek a more satisfying dining option just a block away.

Please order the lion king roll; I know it has cream cheese but trust me this is probably one of the best cream cheese roll that I ever had that I actually loved. All the servers of this place and the owner himself were so nice and helpful. Also their beef udon soup on a cold and rainy night really hits the spot. Thanks for staying open late as I love coming here after work.

Wonderful high quality sushi made fresh and served quickly. Excellent service. Music is too loud for a restaurant. This isn’t a bar and should not have the volume so loud you can’t hear anyone.

I used to go this place when it first open. But not now, because I have noticed that the chef who wears glasses keep touching his glasses while making sushi. It feels so gross ?since then I stopped going there!!
