Sandwiches were very fresh, flavourful, with clean fruit only ingredients for the smoothies! The cookies are to die for & to top it off they have a pet friendly patio area! Definitely looking forward to coming back 😋

I got their brunch special recently. The cafe is under new ownership with younger couple but the service is still same, friendly and attentive. I was able to try some samples of their new cookies lineup, the matcha and NYC were delicious.
Vietnamese coffee was a delight for me as well, first in the surrounding area!

I love everything about this small cafe. I had sandwiches and a bowl of their hearty soup — both were simple but so satisfying. The coffee really stood out too — smooth, rich, and probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.

The new lunch special that comes with a focaccia sandwich and a side of salad is very well seasoned and flavorful. Finished off our lunch with some homemade cookies, highly recommended their Chunky NYC and their Matcha White Chocolate Chip cookies! My wife and I are coming back for sure to try out other items in the menu!

Kenaize helped me gain a new perspective on paninis. I wasn't fond of sandwiches or paninis before in general but man their grilled BBQ beef paninis is out of this world🤩 we also had the tuna melt, which is perfectly seasoned with a very generous amount of proteins. I'd also recommend the matcha frappuccino, a new product line created by the new owner👏

We stopped by Kenaize Cafe on a Saturday noon before heading to a hike in North Vancouver. Everything were fresh and delicious. My favorite were definitely the chicken cream corn soup and the tuna melt. This local hidden gem is a super affordable place for lunch and they don’t skim on the meat. We left super full and ready for a long hike. Will definitely be back again to try their new lunch special. Highly recommended!

A cozy local coffee shop with decent coffee, great service and food. We were able to leisurely enjoying our sandwiches and time here. While the staff members were polite and friendly, it's very welcoming and relaxing, which was different from some other trendy coffee shops we tried. Come and try this place out!

I stopped by Kenaize Cafe and tried the matcha and tomato soup — both were really delicious! The matcha was smooth and not too sweet, and the tomato soup had such a rich, comforting flavor. I also really loved the vibe of the place — cozy, relaxing, and just a great spot to chill or catch up with a friend. Definitely coming back!

The matcha latte here is the best I’ve ever had—so much better than anything I found before I came to the North Shore. The cream of potato and bacon soup is rich and hearty, you can taste the love and care in every bite. The atmosphere is so cozy and warmly welcoming—it feels like stepping into a friend’s living room. It’s the perfect spot to catch on unwind. (Couldn’t resist trying a bit of the creamy potato and bacon soup—so tasty 😋)

As someone who lives in Hong Kong and frequently travels to Japan, I have very high standards when it comes to matcha and chai — and Kenaize Café honestly serves some of the best I’ve ever had.
Their matcha latte is earthy and smooth with a clean, authentic flavor — not overly sweet or artificial. The chai latte is warm, spiced just right, and perfectly balanced. You can really taste the quality of ingredients in everything.
Don’t skip the baked goods — the matcha white chocolate cookies and muffins are outstanding. Everything is made in small batches, fresh, and full of natural flavor.
Stepping into Kenaize feels a bit like walking onto the set of Back to the Future — there’s something nostalgic and cinematic about it. The aesthetic is minimal but memorable, and somehow the entire experience feels like a pleasant surprise — the kind that makes you pause and go, “Wait… this is really good.”
The couple behind the café is hands-on, thoughtful, and clearly passionate. Their attention to detail, from the food to the space to the service, makes Kenaize feel personal, elevated, and refreshingly different.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves quality drinks, natural flavors, and unexpected charm.
