Khaghan Persian Restaurant and Bar North Shore

We’ve always enjoyed the food at Khaghan Restaurant in both locations, and the cleanliness and pricing are fair for what they serve. The management we met for North Van is wonderful—always hospitable and welcoming. However, the service needs more attention. It’s not just about smiling; true service requires professionalism, attentiveness, and training. Unfortunately, this is a common issue in many Persian restaurants, where staff are hired without proper experience or training. Good service isn’t just about looking presentable and delivering food—it’s about ensuring guests feel valued and have a great dining experience.

One major letdown was the 2025 New Year’s Eve party. The music didn’t match the holiday atmosphere, and the highlight of the countdown was completely ruined when the server struggled to open the champagne bottle, clearly unaware of its significance. Moments like these highlight the need for better staff training.

That said, we appreciate the effort Khaghan puts into their hospitality, and we hope to see improvements in service quality in the future.

Fantastic food, amazing service (especially from Miss Shohreh) and a family friendly environment. Highly recommended to anyone who craves decent Persian food and wants to spend some quality time.

We hosted our wedding party, my birthday, and my husband’s birthday all together at Khaghan Restaurant on Valentine’s Day, with 60 guests in attendance. We were absolutely thrilled with everything! The food and finger foods were delicious, and the DJ kept the energy high all night long.

The service was top-notch, and all of our guests enjoyed and loved everything as well. The staffs were incredibly professional and attentive, making the night even more special. I couldn’t be happier that I chose Khaghan Restaurant for our memorable celebration. Highly recommend!
