This is my favourite place ever. The fact that the north van location is still closed is a CRIME. Flavours? They've got em all. Staff? Friendliest folks out there. The kara karagge, and the spicy mazesoba are the absolute best. My partner and I have been going to the Kokoro downtown in the meantime (which is just as fantastic), and are anxiously waiting for the north Vancouver location to re-open.

This is currently my favorite restaurant in Vancouver. It's not ramen, not udon but it's definitely the best of both worlds. I normally order the Spicy Mazesoba and it's just an explosion of flavor. And wait until you get the free scoop of rice to finish off the remaining sauce - it's like getting a second dish! I clearly love this place. Try it, you won't regret it!

Fantastic environment and very welcoming service. The menu was fresh and delightful. Will definitely recommend this spot to others. Convenient rates and big portions. Keep it up.

We stopped by the place to get dinner. My friend and I ordered standard Mazesoba which was fine, but Chasu Bowl was terrible. They used pork belly that had lots of fat and skin. They were not cooked enough to be soften or the quality of the meet was horrible like the pork belly sold at Walmart. It was almost impossible to bite because the fat and the skin were hard. It was so disappointing and disgusting.

We ordered take out over the phone The difference with the egg is that for take out, the egg is a soft boiled seasoned egg. The egg yolk is raw for dine inThe toppings were the same and we got the free side of riceThe quality and taste of the mazesoba is pretty much the same as when we had the food in the restaurantWe also got 15% off our bill for take out!

Really modern interior with friendly staff and great food makes this restaurant fantastic. This is a must come place for tourists. The mazesoba was nice and chewy while the pork was tender. Friendly staff greets you from the door. Really really great restaurant!!!

I really enjoyed this place. Their servers are efficient and friendly and I loved the food presentation and options. If you are not a huge fan of garlic, be cautious of what you order. My dish has sooo much garlic on it. It was yummy despite being borderline overwhelming at the meal and too much after as it did not leave my palette. I DID ask the waitress what her favorite dish was and just ordered that; so this garlic issue is possibly my own fault. I will go back and try other menu items or tell them to minimize the raw garlic. It was a really nice change from a sushi restaurant, which is pretty tired at this point.

‼I AM TELLING YOU I ATE THIS TWO DAYS AGO AND I COULDN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT IT ‼ THIS DISH GOT ME FEELING SOME TYPE OF WAY This dish is essentially multi-grain noodles made in house with spicy minced pork, seaweed flakes, green onion, minced garlic, chives, grinded Saba fish and a raw egg yolk. I had already heard a lot of hype from this restaurant but now I FULL UNDERSTAND THE HYPE The flavours are phenomenal. I'll go into each element of the dish in detail. I'll start off with the pork. The stir fried pork is a flavour bomb, with spicy notes and a savoury undertone. The pork had a nice "fluffy" texture (the type you get when the pork is cooked for the right amount of time and doesn't get overcooked and turn HARD ) The seaweed, green onions, chives, minced garlic, grinded Saba fish and egg yolk just married together to make a creamy beautiful sauce when mixed together with the noodles. THE EGG YOLK WAS SO PRETTY As for the star of the dish, the soba noodles... it was cooked to a very nice texture, with the perfect '口感' mouthfeel?? The noodles were springy and bouncy which indicated that they were very fresh When I finished the noodles there was a lot of sauce left over and the waitress came over and asked if I wanted rice, I didn't know that it came with the meal so I was hesitant but fortunately my friend asked and it is!! So.. if you go there to eat, they should give you rice to finish off the sauce! If they don't, ask!! The ratio of the rice they give you to the sauce leftover is pre much perfect hehe. I really recommend going there to eat!!!

I've had Kokoro before but I've never been to the North Vancouver location so I decided to stop by for lunch. I love how spacious it was and how there was a ton of seating, much more compared to the downtown one. My boyfriend and I both decided to get the Niku Mazesoba and it came out within 10-15 minutes. There were tons of meat and the noodles were cooked perfectly, no difference in quality to the downtown location. We also got the extra rice on the side and it made everything taste so good. I've always had an amazing, positive experience at Kokoro and I'm glad that the North Vancouver location was able to provide me with their same amazing service ans quality as well. I will be returning again for sure!

I thought my days of great tasting ramen were over when I stopped going to Maratama (thee BEST ramen (but I stopped eating meats)), but the vegan ramen here at Kokoro was sooo good. SO GOOD! So far it's the best vegan ramen I've ever had. I lunched today with two others and they both really enjoyed their meals as well. The restaurant is very nice, and the staff were friendly, but the only downfall I see is that there's really not a lot for vegetarians. I would go back for the vegan ramen though. It's worth it.

My first experience there was decent. The mentaiko cream mazesoba is delicious within expectation. Our server Jasna has taken very good care of our table and very cheerful. I look forward to the next visit and to try other menu items.

Good place for Mazesoba. Friendly staff. Limited vegetarian options but i loved them. My friends liked the meat options. General feeling was that it would've been better if they had more options with chicken and without pork. But, overall a passable option.

Really great food, the service can be touch and go depending on the day. Sometimes I have a hard time flagging the waiters down, but the food is always great and the food comes quick. Nice for lunch time hurry.
