This business deserves a negative rating if possible. Despite specifically requesting nut-free cookies for our school event, they not only included pistachios but also displayed a shocking lack of awareness regarding food allergies. Their negligence resulted in a distressing and embarrassing situation at our school, as we couldn't distribute the cookies as planned. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this unprofessional establishment at all costs.

I wouldn't say I like to write anything negative about small business, but I did not have a good experience there. For a start, when I entered Kourosh’s bakery and told her I would like to buy some pastry to take with me to The United States, she made a comment that was not appropriate, and she started treating me as a money bag. In the end, she added $3.99 to my ticket, and that was marked as none taxable item. When I walked into Koroush’s bakery, it was like I walked into a disco. The music was deafening, and I had to speak loudly to converse with a salesperson and sometimes ask her to repeat what she said. At the same time, the whole time I was there, she was on speakerphone, and the phone was on the counter, and I heard the entire conversation between her and the other party she was talking to.She did not pay any attention to my request what I wanted and made a few mistakes, and because of that, I just bought one large box of pastries, one Sohan, and a couple of Aghaie Persian sweets plus $3.99 that I didn’t know what it was, and paid $99.50.From Koroush’s Bakery, I drove to Laleh Bakery and bought over 17kg of pastries, a couple of Sohans, and a few other things for just over $350. Laleh’s quality was outstanding and one of the best.Based on what Koroush Bakery charged me, if I wanted to buy what I bought from Laleh, I had to pay over $1000.

I was looking forward to buying their sweets. I spent almost $40 but it was nothing like I expected. I could have bought the same things from Walmart for less then half the price I paid.

I travelled a long way to try Kourosh’s pastries and they really did not disappoint. The pastries are freshly baked and tasted wonderful. The lady who helped me was very friendly and kind. She suggested a few different pastries to try as she knew I was visiting for the first time. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Kourosh Bakery offers an impressive array of Persian sweets, pastries, and baked goods. Their standout feature is the perfect sweetness level in their Persian cookies. Unlike others that can be overwhelmingly sweet, Kourosh Bakery hits the sweet spot, providing a delightful taste without overpowering sugariness. A must-visit for lovers of balanced, authentic Persian treats.

Pleased to have met Kourosh and his wife in their new Bakery store. Freshly made pastry and cakes at an affordable price. Store is elegant, clean and a must visit when in Lynn Valley. Kourosh is a First Class Baker and seems to Love the art of baking, which shows in every uniquely baked pastry piece. Yummy. I also enjoyed the Natural Juices and jams that they have that compliment their baked goods.
