I absolutely love Cervecería Astilleros. My favorite is the Grapefruit Lager, it tastes like a Paloma in beer form and it is seriously delicious. Every time I go, I am surprised because there are always new rotating seasonal beers to try. One of my favorites was the Piña Colada beer, truly a treat. I’m gonna give my honest opinion. I went there because I read many good reviews. First of all, the waiting was a lot. They told us 30 min and we ended up waiting around 50 min.
We ordered just two tacos, they were very BAD. The tortilla was cold and stale, looked like it was old. And the meat and the flavor was not the best. Attended with two friends for a quick flight and tacos. Beer was flat, taco wrapper stale and meat dry.
Spoke with someone who appeared to be owner/manager. Her reply “the beer is light beer and it’s supposed to be less bubbles”.
Regarding the tacos “no one else has had a problem”.
In my experience Gose and lager are not flat regardless if so alcohol percentage.
