We had a family birthday lunch to attend and I was tasked with trying to hunt down a Pavlova cake for the birthday person's birthday cake. We had enjoyed a wonderful 2 tiered Pavlova cake earlier in the year for my birthday dinner. Everyone had enjoyed it so much, and so I got tasked with hunting down a Pavlova cake because "You seem to know all the places that have them” is what I was told!The person who did my 2 tiered Pavlova cake wasn't able to take our order this time as we needed it for a Sunday and she is away at a Farmers Market on Sundays. So...with the help of Google, I found a Facebook page for Liffey Foods (later discovered that she’s also on Instagram), with some beautiful pictures of Pavlova cakes and Pavlova roulade. (Basically a log shaped Pavlova) The lady who runs Liffey foods offered two different sizes of Pavlova Roulade, a small and a large. I decided to order the large Pavlova Roulade.Liffey Foods is definitely a hidden gem! The Pavlova Roulade was a big hit. It was decorated with a combination of strawberries, blueberries and fresh mint leaves both on top the cake, and inside as well. Such a lovely balance of flavors and the presentation was stunning. It was truly the piece de resistance of the meal!Service: Good

You cannot find pavlova in Vancouver anymore except for one store in West End and now, Liffey Foods. I am so glad I found her just in time for my mother’s birthday. Pavlova is a sweet memory with her recently passed mum (my grandma) so seeing this cake brought tears to her eyes. It is a lightly sweet, fluffy pavlova filled with fresh strawberries and cream, along with the beautiful addition of florals on top.Highly recommend for all the Pavlova lovers out there!!

I called Sinead at noon for a pavlova and was ready for pick up at 4 pm. How’s that for service? It was delicious as well!

I ordered for the first time this week. I ordered chocolate cupcakes and cookies. I didn’t read this before ordering but you order throughout the week and pick up Friday afternoon. It was worth the wait! They were delicious. Even my daughter said you’d never know they were sugar free/keto cookies were also gluten free. I’m struggling not to devour them all. Sinead even added an extra cupcake. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely order again and try more of her options!

NOT a bakery! This is someone house, where Online Orders can be picked up! I drove out from New West only to find out you have to order food days in advance and schedule pick up. Because of this I have not been able to try any of the food.

I have just received my first order of the Liffey Foods keto bread and keto buns - and they are delicious! I was a little bit sceptical when I placed my order, having previously tried some rather awful alternative breads, and was absolutely thrilled to discover just how tasty these bread products are. They have the texture and consistency of good quality bread. For people on the keto diet who are missing the taste and comfort of bread, this is a great, tasty option!

Delightful. From the moment I received my first loaf of Irish Soad Bread, which was still warm from the oven, I knew I was in for a treat. Bread from Liffey Foods makes you wonder what you've been eating for most of your life. The owner is genuine, with a sunny disposition. A gem of a bakery to be found on Vancouver's North Shore.
