The place is nice. Perhaps understaffed when we went for dinner. The hot pot base choice was good. There is no explanation for how it works with the main items and the add ons. The taste was good but the service was not just missing. You have to wait for a long time to get the attention of the waiter and then have 2 min to order after no one explanation. The kids enjoyed cooking their meat in the broth so it was fine for them.

I love hot pot. With a large group, it allows everyone to choose what they want, flavour wise. Since covid, it gives people peace of mind by offering individual portions (your own pot vs sharing).

It was so expensive compared to its quality and quantity. Hotpot vegetables were not various and some part of cabbage was black since it's not fresh, beef was frozen, poor quality. I don't understand why it has to be this expensive even.

We've gone here thrice. The food is excellent. We tried the mushroom and vegetarian hotpots, as well as the ala carte ordering for mapo tofu, friend rice and some cauliflower. All delicious!!! Highly recommend the place

Lunch, Sa Sep 21, 2024. Driving Marine, a 1HR parking in front but--partner notice a sign, PARKING IN REAR. Wanted to try Lion Hot Pot, errands today, nabbed a parking spot, for a GREAT lunch. Ordered with help of server--hot pot, and beef udon dish, exactly right amount for 2 of us. Flavour sauce was so good. You sprinkle meal items into the simmering hot broth, you remove and dip them, Mmm! Spicy was an option. The place was empty Saturday lunch; they deserve to do well. I figure an adventurous GROUP to take up half the place as a nice gathering place? Nice person serving, helpful, calm and efficient. They may do well by pickup and delivery, though hot pot is all fresh. A very nice lunch.
Parking: "Parking in rear," though we easily pulled into 1HR street parking.

Came in hungry after visiting Capilano Bridge. Was warmly greeted and helped with what to order. Wound up getting shrimp and beef hot pot and fried rice. Generous portions and authentic tasting.
Amazing hole in the wall! Brother and sister team are incredible and we love supporting them. They are friendly, the hot pot is Individual so each person can eat what they want and interactive, portions are huge. Love this place and highly recommend!

This is the place for you to enjoy real traditional Chinese cooking especially the stir-fry in north shore. Not that fried meat with sweet-sour source.Their cooking is mostly the first choice if you do not want to cook yourself.The quality of the chef remains the same.
