I ordered some basic rolls, but it hit the spot! I like the portion of rice they used for the rolls and the service was really speedy. Also got a complementary nigiri which was a nice surprise! Would order here again.

They have the best spicy tuna rolls. They mix the tuna with a spicy sauce, then add more spicy sauce on top. So good! We usually do pickup, but they also deliver through the food apps.Parking: Finding street parking is a challenge.

Fantastic food, the chicken teriyaki is a must try along with the spicy tuna roll. The sushi rice and salmon was very fresh and highest quality. Service was also impeccable, the server was very attentive and constantly made sure my tea was full. This place is a must try if you are ever in the area. 10/10

Not so hidden gem in North Vancouver. I’ve been ordering sushi here weekly for the past 4 years and the quality and taste has always been fresh and consistent. This is my favourite local sushi spot! Bento boxes, rolls, and nigiri are all so good! Would recommend for takeout sushi!
We love the food here and broth for the ramen and soup is best but in the last 3 orders have notice a decrease in broth I tried to ask on the phone but was unable to communicate thisPlease hookup the broth.

Located in North Vancouver, Minemura Sushi boasts an elegant ambiance and promises a delightful culinary experience. However, my recent visit left much to be desired, prompting me to reconsider my recommendations.Firstly, I was taken aback by the restaurant's stringent payment policy. Despite receiving a gift card for Christmas, I was informed upon arrival that Minemura Sushi does not accept gift cards—a baffling oversight for a contemporary establishment. This refusal to accommodate a common form of payment resulted in an immediate deduction of one star from my review. As I delved into my meal, it became evident that the quality of produce fell short of expectations. The avocado, a staple ingredient in sushi, appeared lackluster and unappetizing. It's a basic principle: if it doesn't meet the standards of the kitchen, it shouldn't find its way onto customers' plates. This disregard for quality warranted another star deduction.Furthermore, the attention to detail in the presentation of the sushi rolls left much to be desired. The uneven distribution of sesame seeds on one of the rolls resulted in an unpleasant taste imbalance, detracting from what should have been a harmonious flavor profile. This oversight, while seemingly minor, significantly impacted my dining experience, leading to the deduction of yet another star.In summary, my experience at Minemura Sushi merits a modest two-star rating. Despite its upscale ambiance, the lack of flexibility in payment options, subpar produce quality, and inconsistencies in presentation leave much room for improvement. With numerous sushi establishments in the vicinity, I would advise exploring alternative dining options for a more satisfying experience.

Lots of superlatives are used in the reviews for Minemura, which did influence our expectations. Was very nice to get a complimentary miso soup. Service was fast but not rushed. We shared several rolls and adedashi tofu and mixed vegetable tempura. These items came direct from the kitchen and were lightly battered, piping hot and crisp. The sushi rolls (negitoro, spicy tuna, smoked salmon, unagi and North Van) were all decent/good but nothing outstanding. Probably won't return as there are too many other options.
