Sushi was quick, fresh and made with love! Rainbow roll and wild Alaska. Creamy scallop and salmon nigiri. Also ordered beef teriyaki came w lots of rice on a huge plate and beef udon which came w fresh veggies and the beef was not over cooked very flavorful broth. Highly recommend for a quick bite after a long day of playing in nature nearby!

This review was previously made about a mistake in regards to an allergy, since then I have gone through communications with the very helpful staff and Mr. Parks himself. I can guarantee allergy protocols and re-training have been gone over with the staff. No harm was ever meant to be done, and they saw the mistake and corrected it without restraint. They truly wanted to make things right. Besides from the initial issue I can guarantee if you order from Mr. Sushi you will be getting great food at great prices in an amazing atmospheric space. And most of all, you will get good service.
The photo below reflects what had been a mistake (now corrected). What remains now is the quality behind the hand-made rolls.

The party tray was really disappointing — they made it way too small just to make it look like a big portion. I even waited over 20 minutes for the order, but by the time I got it, the sweet potatoes were all dried out. Definitely not a place I’d want to go back to.

Not just possibly, but the worst sushi l’ve had in my 56 years.
I’ve had better whilst visiting Toronto and they’re not even beside the ocean.
I don’t know if Mr. Sushi are running out of money or just cheapening out. We ordered party tray A, in which there is supposed to be one tempura yam roll. I am not a fan of yam but I can stomach one roll. However, every single other combo roll was stuffed with it. The BC roll, the California roll, the whatever other kind of roll, in lieu of more of the ingredients that make those rolls taste yummy and have their own individual taste.
The salmon and tuna rolls were tiny and the cost was more than what I have paid at the regular places we frequent.
By the way, unless one orders noodles, every sushi restaurant is gluten free.
The place was rundown and junky.
But, had the food been delicious it would have felt charming and off the beaten path, I’m sure.
Frankly it was a huge dissatisfying disappointment.

Such a wonderful spot for sushi! They have delicious sashimi and lots of veggie options. Great service and food. The atmosphere isn’t the fanciest but very clean and comfortable. Totally recommend!

The best Mr. Sushi location in the Lower Mainland. It’s smaller than the one on Lonsdale, but the quality of the sushi is the best and the prices are the most reasonable. Their service is always on point.

Unfortunately the seaweed wrap in the sushi was very chewy and I wasn't able to eat it. The whole box also smelled as soon as I opened it.
They send very very tiny amounts of soy sauce so don't forget to ask for a bit more.
In conclusion, I won't recommend this place!
