Mr Sushi Lynn Valley

The best Mr. Sushi location in the Lower Mainland. It’s smaller than the one on Lonsdale, but the quality of the sushi is the best and the prices are the most reasonable. Their service is always on point.

Unfortunately the seaweed wrap in the sushi was very chewy and I wasn't able to eat it. The whole box also smelled as soon as I opened it.
They send very very tiny amounts of soy sauce so don't forget to ask for a bit more.
In conclusion, I won't recommend this place!

I stopped in here jet-lagged after a long flight, and the man working was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the chicken donburi bowl, which was delicious. The service was quick, and the prices were reasonable (especially for students, thanks to the great lunch deals)

Favourite sushi place in North Van, quality and tasty food. We love their teriyaki chicken bowl and chicken roll. This is the first and only place that serves Miso soup that is delicious! Their spicy mayo is creamy and not too spicy, it’s perfect. The staff is friendly and kind and always remembers us. Thank you Mr Sushi and staff!

We were hungry and we just searched for the closest sushi place and we found this gem! This is a small local sushi joint and the staff was amazing, they greeted us with hot green tea that was just amazing and it just kept on coming whenever the glass was empty! We were so hungry that we didn't know what to order, and the server said that we were in luck! We were able to try some of their new menu that was just launched!
We had their tuna oshi and their beef teriyaki box and everything was to its perfection!
Fast service, amazing taste, fresh and warm food!
The only issue is we were too much in a hurry that we weren't able to take any pictures...
We truly recommend this place to all our friends and if this was just closer to where we lived, we would be coming by more often.
Definitely will be back for more!

Great good great service 10/10

So, I finally went to Mr Sushi with my family several days ago, this awesome little sushi joint that's been around for over 10 years. It's got this really cool, old-school vibe that just makes you feel like you're part of something special.

The place is small, but don't let that fool you—the menu is packed with all sorts of delicious options. I started with some miso soup, and it was like a cozy little bowl of comfort. Then I dove into the sushi, and wow, it was amazing. The fish was super fresh, and you could tell they really know what they're doing.

Even though the menu isn't huge, every dish is a winner. The chef's special roll was my favorite—it had this awesome mix of flavors that totally hit the spot.

The staff were really friendly and seemed genuinely proud of the place. They were happy to chat about the menu and made sure we had everything we needed.

Overall, Mr Sushi is a total gem in Lynn Valley. It's the kind of place where you can just relax and enjoy some seriously good sushi. If you haven't been yet, you gotta check it out. I'll definitely be back to try more!

The miso soup was delicious, and the California roll tasted outstanding. The tempura was also good. The teriyaki chicken sauce was also something I really enjoyed. Overall, the taste and price were well-matched.

I’ve ordered from here before and the food was good but something has changed. Just had the worst sushi I’ve ever had and it didn’t even come with ginger or wasabi. Teriyaki was absolutely awful as well. I do not recommend and will never go back.
