Amazing doughnuts, cinnamon twists, jelly filled and glazed is what we had. They have a light fluffy texture and perfect amount of glaze, sugar and jelly filled. My dad really enjoyed the apple (turnover) had the right amount of filling inside puff pastry. I need to try the breads next.

I was doing some errands today and decided to pop into Nickel. They don't just serve Italian ice cream, they also have pastries, and a deli section, and it's wonderful. It's a very charming store. I was greeted by a nice young lady. I asked her to sell me her favorite, and she gave me the cream cheese donut.
Looks amazing and this donut is wonderful. The cream cheese isn't as heavy as I expected. It's got a sweet outer flavor, moist donut not dry. I wish I could have another. And so I bought two more to bring home. I usually would have something to drink to wash a donut down but I didn't need to.
The bakery has many specialty boxed candies as well too. I love their setup! Above all most of their items are not very expensive at all and service is excellent. I'm definitely coming back! By the way they also have a clearence shelf there too!

Very nice donuts at this European bakery in North Vancouver.
I loved the flavours of these donuts. They were very crisp on the outside and nice and soft and fluffy in the middle.
Tried the blueberry, raspberry and pineapple donuts. I liked the blueberry more. Great variety of desserts and cakes and much more.

Wow, I just had to leave a review! I’ve been searching for a European-style bakery for so long, and this place is now my favorite. The sausage bun is the best I’ve ever had, the donuts are easily top 3 in town, so fluffy and not too sweet, and the cherry cheesecake is amazing! Everything is also really well-priced, which is rare these days. You can really tell the owners care about their community and are committed to offering great quality at a fair price.

Stars across the board, I honestly thought this bakery was a hidden gem before I looked at her reviews. The owners goods are amazing and my family is a frequent buyer cause we can’t get enough! And when I first went in I was shocked to see how reasonably priced everything was, all passion and no greed. If you’re at lonsdale you need to make a quick stop, I promise its worth it. :)
