Don’t go to this place if you’re a woman on your own. They left me sitting at a table for 15 minutes while everyone around me in parties of more than one got served. Extremely disappointing. I walked out and won’t be back.
First time coming into this spot, gladly it didn’t disappoint, food was tasty, and really enjoyed the vibe of the place.
My server was awesome too, very knowledgeable and helpful, she made me feel really welcome. I believe her name was Kirsten (maybe, not a 100%)
I’ll definitely be back.

We had such an incredible experience at Nook. From start to finish, everything felt welcoming and effortless. Our server Andrea was wonderful, attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations without ever feeling rushed.
The burrata and focaccia were out of this world, so fresh, creamy, and full of flavour. The pizza and pasta were equally outstanding, perfectly cooked, rich, and authentic. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care in each dish.
The location is fantastic, and the atmosphere is cozy, lively, and full of charm without being too loud. It felt warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends or a relaxed date night.
Overall, delicious food, great vibes, and amazing service. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Andrea, for making it such a great experience.

An excellent experience once again. Gabriel, my server, went above and beyond— it is that genuine, wholehearted hospitality that turns a lovely meal into a lovely experience all in all! Will be back soon.

It’s a good place and the environment is good but food portions are small for the price.

Still the best in Lower Lonsdale! We love coming to Nook for not only the great food and drinks but also the great and friendly service.
We always order one each of their daily specials for antipasto, pizza and pasta, and we’re never disappointed having tried new flavours and local ingredients served in Italian dishes is amazing.
Their regular menu is also great and we have go-to comfort dishes that we also enjoy.

Nook is one of my favorite spots for delicious pasta paired with lovely views of the Shipyards. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the atmosphere makes it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
There is usually a wait, so I highly recommend booking ahead. Parking is paid, but often free if there are no events happening at the Shipyards, which is a nice bonus.

The foods are good but the location is the best compared to other restaurants nearby. The mexican food truck right in front is very noisy.

We had a great dining experience on a Friday before exploring The Shipyards night market!
We arrived around 4:15pm to catch Happy Hour (2pm-5pm daily), it wasn’t busy.
•Service: excellent! Greeted and seated right away. We knew what we wanted, so ordering was quick, as was receiving our food. Staff were friendly, easy going, and attentive. I especially appreciated that our server came before Happy Hour ended to ensure we were done ordering from that menu so we didn’t miss the cutoff.
•Atmosphere: comfy-casual. We ate outside, so I can’t speak to the inside, but the patio’s incredible! Comfy seats, nice breeze, umbrellas for cover (hence the red tone in the photos), and music wasn’t disruptive.
•Margherita Pizza, 5/5: one of the best pizza crusts I’ve had! It’s not too heavy or too thin, with the perfect amount of char. Toppings were perfectly portioned, fresh ingredients. Also, the tomato sauce is VERY good. I’d get this again in a heartbeat. For $17 at Happy Hour, it’s a great deal! As a smaller eater, I ate 3 pieces.
•Pepperoni Pizza, 5/5: my friend ordered this, and loved it! Loaded with pepperoni, which had great flavor, and wasn’t overly salty. As a bigger eater, they had 2 pieces remaining.
•Fresca Fizz, 4.75/5: the white peach makes this. Light, refreshing, not too sweet. For $5 at Happy Hour, give this a try!
