Parse Persian Food

I was really looking forward to enjoying some Persian breakfast today, especially halim, but unfortunately, my experience was very very disappointing. The halim didn’t meet my expectations at all, and I ended up having to throw it out!👎
It was really disappointing, especially since I was hoping to treat myself on my day off. I hope they can improve the quality in the future!

Terrible customer service. They serve people who comes after you when they finally someone to look at you they said they will serve me but started cleaning. Won’t go back.

Nice restaurant with a great variety of traditional Persian dishes.
They offer most of the classic Persian foods on their menu, which is impressive. However, the taste wasn’t quite as rich or flavorful as I expected from authentic Persian cuisine. I’d suggest they focus a bit more on improving the taste quality to match their wide variety of options. Overall, still a good place to try!

AMAZING food and friendly service. However, Parse lacks the organization system to make this place flow. My recommendation is to put up roped poles or some divider to create the clarity of a line up area. Then, order at the cashier first and pay, receiving your receipt and number . The staff then prepare your food and call out your number to pick it up over the glass barrier. A more defined system would improve the experience, otherwise the food is absolutely delicious.

The Chelo Kebab Koobideh was amazing…
I’ve never seen Koobideh like Parse in Vancouver It was fantastic, just like the kebabs in Iran.
I highly recommend ordering the Koobideh from Parse Kebab…

Walk in order for take out dinner. There was no organized line so they took someones order before mine and then switched back when they were told with no apology to the other person. Lamb shank was good, bademjan was good except there were little split peas in dish just sauce. The rice was not persian or aromatic but very big grains and white, and had very little dill and fava beans. The other rice had only yellow colored rice on top as they ran out of barberry temporarily. I would say the meals should be charged a bit less for quality and quantity. A lot of people (ladies) behind the food service not sure why they are there. Stews are popular it seemed - potato eggplant, celery, eggplant in general for that evening. $33 total.

There are many options for Persian food in the north shore but this is a great choice for take out or big parties. Fast turn around, lots of options, fresh ingredients and good pricing.
Walk-in from the left door to order and pay on the right. Limited seating for eating there but would be fine for small quick meals.
