It is a pretty small place, and I almost missed it from the outside. The food was decent overall. I tried the lemongrass grilled chicken rice, and it was quite good for my taste — flavorful, not too salty, and the soup was also nicely balanced.

The service was warm and attentive, which I appreciated. Prices are reasonable, and I would be open to coming back to try some of the other dishes.

Love this place over all others on the North Shore. The broth is unbeatable. We try other places but always end up coming here even if it's out of the way. The shop owner is so sweet and is always so happy to make substitutions based on our dietary needs. Highly recommend! The Pho, Bun Bo Hue and Spring rolls are all fantastic.

Edit to add more details after the response: We did not add any soy sauce to alter the taste of the pork. It came sour and bitter. The fried egg was burnt as well. Communication was done to the waitress about the sour meat. The waitress asked me to picked out the small pieces of pork and replaced me with a piece of chicken.

Vietnamese food is one of our go to comfort food. I've frequent vietnamese restaurants in lower mainland and not once was I am so unpleasantly suprised by the quality, hygiene and taste.

Original portion:
Run don't walk. The pork was sour. The plate had a piece of big vegetable stick to it that was not washed properly. I've never tasted such salty and not favourful lemongrass chicken. This is a health authority report.

Staff were very welcoming. I ordered and was served exceptionally fast. The reason for the review is that the taste was delicious, all these factors combined leaves me no choice but to land them a 5 star review.

Amongst the best in Vancouver, definitely the best in North Van.

Best broth, best meats, and best noodles in Nvan.

Good service aswell and a nice relaxed ambiance.

I got take out, so I'll just talk about the food: it was terrible. Maybe the worst Bahn Mi I've ever eaten. And I'm not trying to exaggerate. I can't think of a worse one. Very little filling. Dry. Had to improve it with things i had around the house. The vermicelli bowl was slightly better, but still awful. Do not recommend.

I was very disappointed with my visit. The service was poor, the hygiene was questionable, and the sauce had a sour, old taste. The overall atmosphere felt unclean, which made the experience unpleasant. To make matters worse, the tip was added to the bill without asking for our consent. This left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this place.

Wanted to try a new spot for Pho. Service is friendly. Food arrived in good time. The salad rolls are about 1/2 of the usual size and my wife’s pho was very light on meat. Both bowls had very bland broth. We left hungry.
